New Registrations

In order to help you find a class that is best suited to your needs and to your current level of competences, your registration will be done in a few steps

1. Arrange a personal appointment via the Internet

You fill in a registration sheet and get an appointment for an interview with a teacher , interview that will take place during the forthcoming ‘orientation and
registration days’

Getting an appointment doesn’t automatically guarantee a place on a course.

2. Orientation and registration days at the INL

In a fifteen-minute interview, you will talk to a teacher personally and choose the course that is best suited to your needs and to your abilities.

If you are not a total beginner, your level will be verified by the means of an entry test that is based on the CECR. The duration of this test is approximately 25
minutes.

• After choosing your class,

you pay your registration fees within the next three days

• If there is no place in a class of your choice

the Institut national des langues offers you a voucher for an ‘inscription prioritaire’. This voucher can be printed online from your personal space and is only
valid for the following cycle of classes, within the limits of the proposed offer.

registrations in a personal space that you can access via the INL Internet portal.

The ‘cycle’ designates the period during which classes are

taught. The September 2010 appointments are chosen for
the forthcoming cycle, i.e. autumn 2010.

Classes are taught in Mersch and in Luxembourg.

All appointments are going to take place in

Under ‘objet’ you can make appointments if you are

interested in beginners classes and/or non-beginners
classes

Choosing a day and a time slot

Automne 2010

The number of appointments available for the cycle , the

level and the date will appear on your screen. This number
is updated with every appointment that is registered. If
more than one person choose the same appointment at the
same time, the following message will show:
"No appointments available for this time slot.’
In this case, choose another time slot.
15/09/2010 The number of appointments is limited.

You wish to learn a new language or to continue improving your linguistic skills? In order to answer your
needs, the Institut National des Langues is happy to confirm the following appointment:

Documents to provide : • this letter which validates your appointment
• a copy of your identity card or passport
• a document proving your possible right to a special
reduced rate

During a 15-minute interview, you will talk to a teacher who will help you find a course that is best
adapted to your needs and to your abilities.

After having chosen your course, you should pay

• online with a secure credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American express), connecting yourself via your
personal space on the INL Internet portal (https://inscription.insl.lu/login_student.aspx)
OR
• using a bank transfer or deposit . In order to do this:
1) you must print a preprinted bank transfer form from your personal space on the INL internet
portal and complete your bank transfer.
2) you must transfer this notice of transfer together with the proof of payment to the INL, within 5
days in person to the information desk or by posting.

If the unfortunate occasion arises that you don’t obtain a place in the class of your choice, the Institut
National des Langues offers you a voucher for a registration ‘prioritaire’. This voucher can be printed
online from your personal space on the INL Internet portal and is only valid for the following cycle of
classes within the limits of the proposed offer.

With your access code(Login and password), you have access online to your personal space in order to :

• print the validation of your registration for the orientation and registration days(page’cours’)
• consult and modify the planning of your appointment(s)

To change an appointment you must cancel the appointment and choose a new appointment, using your access code.
Please, make sure to consult the appointments available before deleting your old appointment(s).

• pay ther registration fees by credit card (page ‘cours’)

• print a notice of transfer to pay by bank transfer or deposit (page ‘accueil’)
• print a validation of a registration for a course(page ‘cours’)
• print a participation document (page ‘cours’)
