Salvation

- God created us, and he wants us to be saved! John 3:16 & 17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son For God sent not his Son into to the world to condemn the world - Who is this Son? PROPHESY: Isaiah 7:14 ...Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son... PROPHESY: Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given... Matthew 1:18-23 ...and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins... Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other... - How are we saved from sin? Acts 2:38 Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ... ...ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. ---------------------------------------

- How do we repent? Mark 2:17 ... I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Luke 13:3 & 5 ...except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish. Luke 24:46-49 ...repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name... 2 Peter 3:9 ...not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Matthew 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: Acts 26:20 ...they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. *Examples: (I Kings 8:47) (Jeremiah 4:28) (Ezekiel 14:6) (Ezekiel 18:30) (Jonah 3:9) - ...and be baptized? Matthew 28:18-20 ...teach all nations, baptizing them in the name... Mark 16:15 & 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved... John 3:1-7 ...Except a man be born of water and of the *Spirit, he cannot enter in the kingdom... Romans 6:3-6 ...so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death... Colossians 2:9-14 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith... 1Peter 3:21 ... the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: - the gift of the Holy Ghost? PROPHESY: Isaiah 28:11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. PROPHESY: Joel 2:28 & 29 ...I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters... John 14:16 & 17 ...and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever... ... for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. - Is that all we need to do? PROPHESY: Ezekiel 36:27 I will put my *spirit in you, and cause you to walk in my statutes... Romans 6:3-13 ...walk in newness of life... ...we should not serve sin... ...yield yourselves unto God...and your members as instruments of righteousness...
