Port and Harbor Engineering
A harbor is a body of water where ships,
boats, and barges can seek shelter from
stormy weather, or else are stored for future
use. A port is a location on a coast or shore
containing one or more harbors where ships
can dock and transfer people or cargo to or
from land. Port and Harbor Engineers
handle the design, construction, and
operation of ports, harbors, canals, and other
maritime facilities.

Railroad Engineering
Railway engineering is a
multifaceted engineering discipline
dealing with the design, construction and
operation of all types of rail
transport systems. A branch of
engineering concerned with the design,
construction, maintenance, and operation
of railways.
Airport Engineering
It involves the design and construction of
facilities for the landing, take off,
movement of aircraft on the ground,
parking of aero planes on loading aprons,
maintenance and repairs of areas, access
roads from the city side to airport, and
handling of passengers, baggage and
freight.
