Prayer and Praise Song

a. Prayer:
Merciful God, anoint us with you Holy Spirit. As we read your Word, let us hear your voice speaking from
within. Give us the wisdom to understand your message. Let your Word be the joy of our heart and the light
to our feet. Give us strength to build our life on your Word. Let it be done to us according to your Word. May
we rejoice in the blessedness of hearing your Word and keeping it. Speak Lord; your servant is listening.
Thank you, Jesus… Praise you Jesus. Amen.
b. Praise Song

2. Reflection:
Be reconciled to God
2 Corinthians 5:20; 6:2
Golden verse 20: We are ambassadors therefore on behalf on Christ as though God were entreating by us: we
beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God

Reflection:
Sin and transgressions done by man have making it in a hostile or opposite position with God. The relationship
between man and God is necessary reconciled and God has begun through God Jesus. The message of atonement
was again called by the apostle Paul to man. Be reconciled to God is like calling for repentance and correction of a
relationship with God.
The work of the Lord Jesus is the work of reconciliation between man and God. This ministry is also continued by
the apostle Paul and should also be the motivation of our ministry. When we confess and have the determination to
serve God we are willing to take part in the atonement work that God has begun. This news of reconciliation can we
call wherever we are, in the school environment, we should voice our lives who are willing to give themselves
reconciled with God. The man who is willing to be reconciled with God is seen in his everyday way of life, like a
language that respects others.
Let the apostle Paul's invocation "be reconciled to God" always be our reminder to welcome and live in
reconciliation with God.

3. Closing prayer:
Dear Lord and Father of all, Thank you for today. Thank you for ways in which you provide for us all. For Your
protection and love we thank you. Help us to focus our hearts and minds now on what we are about to learn.
Inspire us by Your Holy Spirit as we listen and write. Guide us by your eternal light as we discover more about
the world around us. We pray that you would help us pass this exam. Thank you for your guidance in leading us
to this study and for sustaining us as we have worked for this qualification. We ask now that your spirit would
lead us. Come sharpen our thinking and help us to excel in this test of our learning and understanding. May we
be able to recall everything we need from our studies and answer each question well. We ask all this in the name
of Jesus. Amen.

4. Closing Prayer after school:

Dear Father and Lord of all, Thank you for our school and everybody who works and studies in it. We are so
grateful for all the things we have learnt today. Be with us now as we journey home. Please keep us safe and
watch over all our families and friends. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
