WHY  TENZIN  NAMGYAL  TETHONG?  

EXPERIENCE:   The  next  Kalon  Tripa  will  serve  until  2021  if  re-­‐elected,  at  that  time  His  Holiness  the  Dalai  Lama  will  be  85  years.  The  Kalon

This  is  a  critical  time  for  Tibet,  and  there  is  no  room  for  error  and  learning  on  the  job.  The  Tibetan  people  need  a  tried  and  true  leader.  

Tenzin  Namgyal  Tethong  has  served  as  Kalon  Tripa  at  the  request  of  His  Holiness  the  Dalai  Lama.  He  has  represented  His  Holiness  in  the

international  arena.  He  has  led  an  official  delegation  to  Tibet  and  China  and  is  at  home  in  Dharamsala  and  world  capitals.  Throughout  his  
life   he   has   been   training   to   be   the   Kalon   Tripa   of   the   Tibetan   people   during   this   critical   time.   He   is   the   most   experienced   Kalon   Tripa
