EXPERIENCE:

next
Kalon
Tripa
will
serve
until
2021
if
re-‐elected,
at
that
time

Holiness

Dalai
Lama
will
be
85
years.
The
Kalon
Tripa
will
need
to
work
closely
with

shouldering
an
increasing
burden
of
leadership
responsibilities
for
the
Tibetan
people.
This is a critical time for Tibet, and there is no room for error and learning on the job. The Tibetan people need a tried and true leader.
Tenzin

Kalon
Tripa

request
of
His
Holiness

Dalai
Lama.
He
has
represented

Holiness
in
the
YOUTH FOR TENZIN NAMGYAL TETHONG
international
arena.
He
has
led
an
official
delegation
to
Tibet
and
China
and
is
at
home
in
Dharamsala
and
world
capitals.
Throughout
his
life
he
has
been
training
to
be
the
Kalon
Tripa
of
the
Tibetan
people
during
this
critical
time.

is
the
most
experienced
Kalon
Tripa
candidate.
