Chinese Metaphysics is a vast study, covering subjects such as
Chinese Astrology, Feng Shui and Qi Men Dun Jia. It shares the same
principles with other forms of metaphysics including Qigong,

Cosmic Trinity
In Chinese Metaphysics, it is believed that human
beings are influenced by three factors; Heaven,
Earth and Man. Also known as the Cosmic Trinity,

Earth is the environment and the resources

BaZi Basics
While BaZi is a vast and complicated subject,
at the core of it begins with the Day Master.
In a nutshell, it is who you are on a fundamental level. It describes your true
being, your underlying nature, how you function and your default nature
that’s consistent throughout life.
What is the Day Master? It is one of the 10 elements that was present on
the day you were born. These 10 elements are derived from the Yin & Yang
configuration of the 5 Chinese Elements; Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and
Water. In short, your true nature is based on one of these elements.

氣Qi (Natural Energies)
Everything in the world is made out of

matter and energy. Through the lens of
ancient scholars, this life force is
generated from environment and affects
each and every one of us differently. Qi, as
they call it, come in two different polarities.
Generally, Qi can be classified as Positive Qi (Sheng Qi) or
Negative Qi (Sha Qi) and their influence can be felt differently.
The nature of Qi is cyclical and as such, can be calculated. At
different times, different types of Qi will be present and
subsequently affect any given environment.

The Flying Stars
Delving deeper into the subject, these different types of Qi or energy
is categorised further and identified as the 9 Flying Stars. Though
there are many ways these stars could be applied, the most
meaningful and practical application of it is its use annually.
Each year, these stars “fly” into different sectors. As their nature is
dynamic, a sector in a building could exert positive influence in a year
and give off negative vibe the next year or vice versa. Having
awareness of the Flying Star’s configuration is the key to tap into their
energy.
The 9 Stars each has their uses and side-effects. Traditionally, they
are understood as “auspicious” and “inauspicious”, inherently their
individual quality is neutral. It is when they are paired with the right
intent and the right action that their positive effects can shine best.

How To Apply
Feng Shui in 5 Steps
STEP 1
The first step in Feng Shui application is to get your house plan and
compass ready. Make sure you find out the direction of your house
according to the compass!

Star occupies which sector of your house. It doesn’t have to be
perfect, as long as the middle number (Star 6) is at the very centre of
the house and is correctly oriented according to the compass.

STEP 4
Arguably the most important step in making Feng Shui work for you is
NOT actually the Flying Stars themselves. Rather, it is to identify your
own goals. It is only when you have a clearly defined goal that you
may focus the energies and bring your intention into reality.
Here are some examples on what you may want to see happen in
2021:
1. I want to start my own business and I’m looking for investors.
2. I want to be in good health for 2021.
3. I want to find the courage to finally venture into new experiences

and adventure.
4. I want to learn a new skill that can help increase my value.
5. I want to avoid any accidents or unforeseen circumstances.
6. I want to be indispensable to the company and secure my job.
7. I want to have better relationship with colleagues and have

fewer arguments.
8. I want to kick-start my sidegig and create an additional source

of income in 2021.
9. I want to grow my follower base on social media and gain more

visibility.

STEP 5
Based on your goal for 2021, activate these sectors. The way to
activate them is to do more activity in the sector itself. For example:
do your work in the area, making calls, anything ACTIVE that can put
you one step closer to your goals.
I want to start my own business and I’m looking

for investors.
For goals related to looking for help, use the Star 1 that will be present
in the South sector in 2021. For example, you can make calls, connect
to mentors or do your networking in the south sector of your house.
I want to be in good health for 2021.

If health is your main focus, you might want to avoid Star 2 that will be
in the North sector in 2021. If for whatever reason this sector is
unavoidable, you can place metal objects in the north area of your
house, such as dumbbells or a bowl of coin.
I want to find the courage to finally venture

into new experiences and adventure.
To have a boost of courage and bravery, spend more time in the
Southwest sector of your house in 2021 as Star 3 will be present there.
Make plans here, psyche yourself up and visualise yourself facing and
overcoming adversity.

I want to learn a new skill that can help
increase my value.
To have a better pay, salary or income, you must have more value to
offer. Pick up a new skill and activate your super-learning by doing
your studies in the East Sector where Star 4 will be residing in 2021.
I want to avoid any accidents or unforeseen

circumstances.
For 2021 to go relatively smooth and minimise unforeseen
circumstances, avoid the Southeast sector as Star 5 will be there. If
this area can’t be avoided, it can also be remedied with metal
objects such as iron pots and copper cups (anything is fine as long as
it is made out of metal).
I want to be indispensable to the company and

secure my job.
If you wish to have more prestige, authority and respect in your line of
work, activate Star 6 that is in the centre of the Flying Star chart this
year. Simply be in the centre of your property more and do your work
and work-related activities there.
I want to have better relationship with

colleagues and have fewer arguments.
To avoid arguments and misunderstandings at work, spend less time
in the Northwest sector in 2021 as Star 7 will be there. If it can’t be
avoided, having awareness can still mitigate this star’s effect as you
can be more mindful with your words.

The Art Of Timing
Using Chinese Metaphysics (Chinese Date Selection) To Take
The Right Actions During Right Time and Get The Right Results
It’s no secret that major companies do their launches based on

research, analytics and trends of past performances. It may
seem innovative, but selecting good dates isn’t a modern
concept; it’s already been practiced by the Chinese for
thousands of years. By combining historical observations with
astronomy and astrology, ancient scholars were able to identify
energy cycles and how it relates to certain events.
What they discovered is that good days and bad days don’t
appear at random. There’s a certain pattern to it and these
cycles can be calculated and computed. What happened once
can happen again, repeatedly. Therefore, it’s a matter of
determining when is the right time to initiate an activity. This
would literally be “doing the right thing at the right time.”
Matching Time To Activity

Planting and harvesting crops, marriages, moving to new
houses, travelling and burials all incorporated Date Selection to
ensure these activities were to run smoothly. Each day would
bring a specific set of energy that’s suitable and at the same
time unsuitable for certain activities. That means is that there’s

no such thing as a totally “good” or “bad” day. Through Date
Selection, it is possible to turn bad days into a good and good
days into great. This allows you to make the most out of your
day.
