Meeting Schedule
January – February:
• Meeting 5 days a week, minimum of 1 hour per day.
• Meetings are to be Monday through Friday.
February - March:
• Meeting 4 days a week, minimum of 2 hours per day
• Meetings will be every other evening.
• Sunday will also be a scheduled meeting day.
March - April:
• Our core hours are 1pm – 12am
• All members are to work 40 hours per week.
Meetings will begin at Graduate Hall, where the final destination will be determined. After the
workplace destination has been decided, we will all migrate to the determined place. From
there we will do a turbo team and acclimate ourselves to the changes in the code base. Our
meeting time will not last longer than 8 hours. Each individual is required to list his latest
progress and to work on his scheduled tasks.
Hours Worked per Week
January – February:
• We will meet 12 hours per week
i. 6 hours are lab time
ii. 6 hours are outside time, concentrated on 4 hours on Saturday.
iii. Availability outside of meeting hours through online conference.
February – March:
• We will meet 20 hours per week
i. 12 hours of lab per week.
ii. 8 hours outside of lab per week
iii. Availability outside of meeting hours through online conference.
March – April:
• We will work 40 hours per week
i. 6 hours of work a day will be put into the project
ii. Meet once per week to discuss performance and challenges.
iii. Availability outside of meeting hours through online conference.
In the case of an emergency the team member affected, if able, will contact the project
leader, or any member they can contact. The project lead will be responsible for handling and
dispatching a plan to counter the current situation.
Calamity
If a calamity requires evacuating or taking shelter, everyone should work to find a way to get in
contact with each other. First make sure everyone is fine, and find out if it is feasible to do any
work, or if the team should just wait it out.
No computer
If a person on the team has no laptop or desktop computer, all that persons work is done at the
school’s computer laboratory, and at team meetings, they must take meeting notes on paper, or
have the notes sent to them.
Personal Issues
In the event of a problem that the person must leave for and address, they will contact at least
one other team member (who will contact the rest.) Depending on the emergency, the team will
then split the persons work among themselves.
Sickness
The person who is sick will be given work to do, but far less than the rest of the group and
depending on the sickness, may not be required to come to team meetings.
Server Failure
Group members should take the responsibility of backing up all their work on their local drives.
In the event of a server failure the group would be able to salvage as much as possible.
Decision-Making Process
The decision making process will be facilitated via democratic consensus; the Project Lead will
be responsible for making sure the conversation stays constructive. If a consensus cannot be
reached there will be a vote taken and the next issue will be tackled. The maximum time an
issue can be discussed is thirty minutes.
Rules of Conduct
All team members are expected to maintain a professional, constructive attitude during all team
meetings and group code sessions.
• Playing games or web surfing is not allowed and will be noted as failure to comply
with the needs of the group.
• Causing arguments and conflict is prohibited and will be noted and discussed with
the SP adviser.
• Team members are expected to be on time to all meetings.
• Code modules belong to the creator of said module and should not be modified
without expressed consent of the creator.
Repeated failures to behave appropriately will result in team action against the offending team
member.

Administrative Roles
a. Maintain communications with art team regarding creation and receipt of assets.
b. Schedule individual or team meetings with art team for review of assets.
c. Must create and manage the Asset List.

e. In charge of finding the fun.

Basic Controls
The camera is placed behind the fish and is in a third person mode by default. The player will
have a rear view mode that you will be able to see what is behind you.
Button controls:
Movement –- Accelerate, Decelerate, Turning

During menus, fish and item selection the player will be able to use their mouse freely to select
options and change
Game Goal
The overall goal of the game is to reach the final boss (thereby saving the ecosystem) and
defeat it using the knowledge you have learned, and items you have acquired during the
previous levels.
Target Platform
The game will be developed for the PC.
Minimum Requirements:
• 1.5 GHz processor
• 512 MB of RAM
• 2 GB of hard drive space
• 512 MB video card with support for shader model 2.0
At the beginning of the session the player will have a small amount of preparing
to do. The player can choose to start a new game, to select a saved game, or to exit.
If a player starts a new game, the first task will be a tutorial mode in which a
player is taught the controls and how to use items and fish skills.
The next task is to choose from one of the provided starting fishes. Once the
player has chosen their fish they will be able to see its fish skills, and the fish will be
added to the players list of usable fishes.
The player will then go to the level selection where they can either enter again a
completed level or proceed to the next uncompleted level. Each level will have different
types of maps, puzzles or ways of completing it.
While playing the level, the player will encounter other fishes, predators, items
and clues in how to complete the level. Every level, there is a boss which the player has
to defeat using the knowledge they learned, the item they gathered, or by using their
quick thinking and fish skills.
