Community Challenge:
The tree canopy in Northeast Ohio continues to decline. It is imperative
we act now to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change and other
factors on the health of our urban and rural forests.

Holden Forests & Gardens Goal:

Empower the Northeast Ohio community to care for the trees that are
thriving here, and aim to have 15,000 trees planted by 2025. The tree
canopy in Northeast Ohio will be expanded and healthy in RURAL and
URBAN spaces. Together we will address climate change and improve our
Northeast Ohio neighborhoods.
