1. What is education like in the new normal?
According to infed.org…education can be defined as the wise,hopeful and
respectful cultivation of learning undertaken in the belief that all should have chance
to share life. Today , in modern society education is vital component of life that that
consistently derived from that across generation. It can shared and transferred in
school as form of academic learning space among learners. It can strengthened in
communities where children and their families can learned from other families. It a
driving tool that sharpened the young minds of learnes and cultivate various life
skills and talents for everyday life and survival.
In recent global health crisis of COVID-19, affecting countries of this
pandemic brought largely on collaboration of all agencies, stakeholders and other
private entires to come up new strategy identified as NEW NORMAL curriculum and
with consideration the minimum health protocols blended education and using
online flat form serves as technology response of the COVID-19. Luckily, in the
context of new normal of education system in the Philippines thru various modality
are very flexible, responsive and adaptable because of available options aside from
default classroom instruction and management. Schools learners with parents
possibly agreed on options to be in blended for face to face and modular, using
online flat form instruction, television and radio informative broadcasting method.
With this educators from higher level down to mainstream educators and/or frontline
teachers will provide capacity buildings and training thru online that form and

Technology has the power to free us as teacher from default classroom
instruction, to make more comfortable, flexible and to foster initiative among

As a society in the new normal, we need to ensure that the basic physical,
social, emotional, and psychological needs of the students are meant before they

uphold even we experiencing COVID-19 pandemic. The learning in the new normal
requires a high level of health precautions to learners, teachers and other local

new ways of learning. In the education sector, new normal are reaching in the
school all over the countryside, from information dissemination, starts of capacity
building for teachers and online process on enrollment procedures. Today, online
learning has been pushed among high education committee serves as solution that
further address in learning continuity of students. Online learning can a great
support towards continuous learning both for students and teachers. In the long run,
online learning is a tool that students continue be educated, informed. This a rise of
digital technology from default face to face classroom instruction. Personally, new
normal is like too much focus on technology based learning medium. Can we look
back to those children that belongs to marginized and vulnerable families that
instead of juggling on purchasing data to get online, those portion of hard earned
money intended to buy foods and other basic needs? This concerns must
reconsidered , revaluated and reassess. This is a true picture of the new normal,
like focusing on digital technology, some children could not afford on new device.
Above all, believing that we all needs to educate but because of this pandemic,
other children mostly in far flung communities possibly left behind.

In the new normal teachers shall transform on how they teach online, especially

that they have relevant to students. The schools must purposely and set more
priorities on designing assessment or grading on students. In this like on pandemic,
on strategic teaching for students on the functionality of distance learning, the role
of the parents are crucial and necessary on the context of the learning of students.
Students shall be guided on the use of online learning that they must not abusive
and an productive. The school and the parents have a stronger partnership that
able to facilitate better, consistent communication, collaborations, dialogued and
feed backing, dynamic and flexible learning options. This is also an opportunity to
both school and parents can create online learning environment to parents,
including their community with the expanded support of local government units. Can
explore other sectors with in communities and forge partnership enable schools still
