1. What is a part of speech and mention them ?


PART OF SPEECH
A. DEFINITION
the type of words that compose one sentence to become coherent and provide
understanding to the reader . We can categorize English words into 8 basic
types called "parts of speech" or "word classes".
B. 8 TYPES PART OF SPEECH
 Noun
Nouns are a person , place , thing , or idea . They can take on a myriad of
roles in a sentence , from the subject of it all to the object of an action . They
are capitalized when they're the official name of something or someone, called
proper nouns in these cases.
Example : pirate, Caribbean, ship, freedom, Captain Jack Sparrow.
 Proper Noun
Noun that shows the name of the person, place and so on that are
specific to him or her. Proper Nouns always start with a capital letter.
Example : Michael , Africa , Uncle George
 Common Noun
A noun denoting the type, class of things, places and so on.
Example : Car , Man
 Pronoun
Refer or substitute noun , people and thing in the singular or plural form that
has been mentioned in the previous sentence (antecedent).
Example : My parents are serous about health. They say that beef is not good
for me.
 Personal Pronoun
Personal Pronouns consist of 4 (four) forms, namely : Personal
Pronouns as Subject, Object, Possessive (possess) and Nominative
possessive.
Example : Mr. Bambang is an English teacher. He teaches his
students well. They love him very much.
My car is BMW. It is parked over there. Which one is
yours?
The pronoun position in the sentence, namely the He, They,
It, Hers position as the subject.
 Possessive Pronoun
There is no proprietary pronoun for its, so we cannot say “The book is its”.
Own pronouns are also often placed at the end of a sentence and are usually
emphasized. "This is my book" can have a fairly factual meaning, but "This
book is mine" emphasizes more on who owns the book.
 Reflexive Pronoun
Reflexive pronouns such as myself, yourself, herself, himself,
themselves, ourselves, and itself show that the subject is subject to
action from the verb.
Example : Students who cheat on this quiz are only hurting
themselves.

 Adjective
Adjective itself contains the meaning of a word which describes a noun.
The following is the use of the adjective in a sentence :
 Use of an adjective with a verb in the form of "be"
Example : The shirt is blue. The cars are white.
 The use of an adjective before a noun
Example : It is white shirt
A few adjectives : Sad , Happy , Beautiful , Handsome
 Verb
Verbs is an action or activity performed by a person. Verbs are divided into
two, namely Regular Verbs and Irregular Verb . Word that describes an action
or is doing something, such as: Paint, Cut, Watch, Walk, Talk.
Example :  They spoiled their youngest child.
Shinta jumped over the fence.
Budi bought a ticket.
 Adverb
Adverbs are clauses that serve to explain verbs. Adverbs are usually classified
based on the "meaning / purpose" of the conjunction .
Types of Adverbial Clause :
  Adverb of Time
Adverb that shows time. Usually made using a conjunction
(conjunction) such as after, before, no sooner, while, as, and others.
Example :  Shut the door before you go out.
You may begin when(ever) you are ready.
 Adverb of Place
Adverb denoting a place. Usually made using a conjunction such as
where, nowhere, anywhere, wherever, etc.
Example : They sat down wherever they could find empty seats
The guard stood where he was positioned.
  Adverb of Manner
Adverb that shows cars how a job was performed or events occurred.
Usually made using a conjunction, like as, how, like, in that, etc.
Example : He did as I told him.
 Article
Article is a word that combines with a noun to indicate the type of
reference the noun makes. Grammar articles specify the certainty of
nouns, in some languages to expand their numerical volume or scope.
 Conjuctions
Conjunctions are used to link word by word, phrase to phrase, clause to
clause, and sentence to sentence. Some Conjunctions that are often used are:
but, and, although, so, if, or, after, until, for, so that, in spite of, etc.
Example : Both my mother and my sister are here.
Not only my mother but also my sister is here.
Either my sister or my parents are here.
Neither my mother nor my sister is here.
 Prepositions
Preposition is a word that is placed / used before a noun or pronouns to
indicate a relationship with other parts of a sentence.
 At,In
"In" is used for the name of the country and big city. "At" is used for
a small town
Example : Dina lives in New York.
She passed her holiday at Stockholm village.
 At,In,On
"At" is used for the correct time, "In" is used for part of the time, and
"On" is used for the name of the day or date.
Example : I usually get up  at six o’clock.
He takes a walk in the afternoon.
They are going to go fishing on Sunday.
 Between , Among
"Between" is used between two people or things. Meanwhile,
"Among" is used when among many people or objects.
Example : I stand between the two girls.
I stand among a crowd of girls.
 By, Before, Since
Can be used for a certain time limit
Example : You must go home by five o’clock.
She didn’t go home before five o’clock.
She has been here since five o’clock.
 Interjection
A short interjection used to show or express a certain feeling.
Example : Bravo !, That’s what I want.
Oh !, How please I am to see you.
Oops !, I knocked your cup over.

2. You will be a teacher in future. You have to be able to teach your students and make
them understand about your lesson. In this case,you will be as an english teacher. How
are you going to teach English to your elementary scholl students?
Give rewards when they successfully increase their Vocabulary.
Use pictorial english dictionary in lessons
Using technology tools in a learning setting.
Get used to children learn English regularly
Teaching English by using song
Teaching English by using stories
