While his friends play the latest computer game, Richard Prescott is busy to sell (to sell) cars. Richard sold
(to sell) his first Porsche car when he was 12 and earned his first million at the age of 16. ‘People, especially
other teenagers, often ask me what it is like being very rich, so young,’ says Richard cheerfully. ‘They think my
life must (must/have/ought) be different, but the only difference is that I buy and sell cars.’ However
(Although/Therefore/However), not every teenager owns a (a/the/-) car and wears designer clothes. Richard has
made to the top with the help from his family. During the last three years he has been working (to work) for his
father’s used car business. ‘It wasn’t easy,’ says his father. ‘But Richard is a talented boy and I am very proud of
(of/with/for) him.’ Richard’s job has also had a big impact on his schoolwork. He left school some time ago and
now has private teachers. ‘If someone (some/someone/no one) wants to become a web designer, teacher or sales
assistant, they must take exams. I would not change anything in my life even if I started (to start) it all over
again,’ he says. So has been (to be) a successful and well-paid job the most important thing for Richard? ‘No, not
really,’ he replies. ‘My father once said that everything he had was from sale, except his family, and my family is
really important to me, too.’

Nowadays, shopping and fashion have become an important part of my generation. Everybody goes
shopping everyday and this has become something common or even essential for people. But in but in every country
shopping culture is different.

On the one hand, the most important is that the shopping culture in our country is based on
globalization. For example, when we shop, all these things bought are brought from other countries and sold to us.
Moreover, most people buy more efficient technologies and more stylish clothes that are considered brand, and the
most qualitative of these things are made in the international market and brought to us.

On the other hand, this lack of goods makes people not just think about shopping and think they are
happy because of them. For instance, In other countries people are obsessed ABOUT shopping, but in our country
because of poor quality of things or lack of money, people do not always think how to buy something new and
fashionable. As a result, money and shopping are not the most important things.

In conclude, shopping culture is bad in our country, but this is not critical. In my opinion, shopping
culture is bad in our country.
