Title: MINING SAFETY USING ZIGBEE NETWORKS AND MICROCONTROLLERS

Elucidation: The aim of the project is to design an effective security system which works for the
safety of the miners.

At present, a detailed study regarding the components required has been made.
Details regarding setup procedures have been worked upon. The project aims at
providing safety to the miners by keeping track of every movement of the miner.

Other mini-projects:

− Developed a “Differential Amplifier” as a part of Electronics hardware project

(Analog) .
− Developed a “Digital to Analog Converter” as a part of the Electronics hardware
project (Digital).

Skills:
Technical Languages: C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, Matlab, PSpice, GEDA.
Operating Systems: Windows 98, Windows XP, Linux.

Extra - Curricular Activities:

− Participated in Intra college and Inter College Sports Festival which included football and
cricket.
