Ok let’s take a look to this question

“WHY DO WE HAVE TO LEARN ENGLISH?”
Probably if we give this question to village people, they will answer “English not important and I
didn’t have excuse to learn that”. In other side if we give this question to metropolitan people, maybe in
general they will say “because English is important and it will be support my job career”. Even tough,
Language is important and useful to all people who use it in good way. Let’s imagine how if village

ma
Now I would like to explain
Here I will explain about fact of English language. According to https://www.fluentu.com/ there
are around 35 facts, but here I will explain the interesting and important fact.
1. Facts
a. English originates from North West Germany and the Netherlands
English has its origins in Old High German, Old Norse, and Anglo Norman. Modern English started
being used in the 14th century and the closest languages to English are Dutch and West Flemish.
b. English is spoken by 1,5 billion people around the world
339 million people speak English as a first language, and 603 million speak it as a second language. It is
the official language in 67 countries and 27 non-sovereign countries such as Hong Kong.
c. The British Empire and the iPhone are some of the biggest reasons English is so widespread today.
Some of us may wonder why English is such a popular language worldwide today. While there
are many reasons, here are some of the biggest.
The British Empire refers to the period between roughly the late 15th to 17th century and the
1960s, when England had vast territories and colonies all over the world. Essentially, this was when
England controlled large portions of Europe, North America, Africa and the West Indies.
d. English is the official language of the air.
This means that English is the official language of airplane travel.
Ever noticed that no matter where you’re flying in the world, your pilot and flight attendants always
know English? This is why!
e. A new English word is added to the dictionary every two hours.
Editors from the Oxford English Dictionary have estimated that about 4,000 new words are added to the
dictionary every year.
That means a new word about every two hours!
f. There are approximately 1.5 billion English speakers in the world.
That’s 20 percent of the world’s population!
About 600 to 700 million of those are non-native speakers. Find out more at St George International.
g. English has more words than most languages.
There are currently about an estimated one million words in the English language.
But don’t let this scare you, because…
h. The average English speaker only knows between 20,000 and 30,000 words.
While this statistic from Twin word still seems daunting, it should be a comfort to learners that you’re
not going to have to memorize all of the million English words out there.
You’ll still be understood!
All right for the second, I would like to explain about “Countries that use English as their official
