Reminder…no in-person learning on campus Wednesday.

Hip Hip Hooray! Our bus lanes are open again for our buses, this means parents can drop off at the front of
the school for Kindergarten (and siblings).

DMC Families: On April 6th, CCSD is opening the doors for all students to return in-person five days a week for
grades PK-5. We still will be required to maintain social distancing, wear masks at all times, and remain off the play
equipment. We are diligently trying to create a staffing plan as it is an option to remain distance learning for the final
37 days of school and we will be required to have a distance learning teacher in each grade level. It is vital that we
know if you are planning on sending your students back to full-time school in-person beginning April 6th.

Cyber Cox Cub of the Week: Congratulations to the students in Mr. Shafran’s Class, they did our first in-person
weekly announcements and were fantastic! Congratulations to the following students for being an awesome Cyber
Cox Cub of the week for last week: Robert Gibson, Lilly Blythe, Matthew Rosas, Diego Garcia-Schlosser, Noah
Medina, Rocco Courtney, Dylan Ellison, Skyler Chong, Alexa Valdes, Violet Hernandez, Alora Alliyani, Joseph
Fritsch, Melanie Pham, Sophia Kuwahara-Flood, Aroara Gabigas, and Ethan Ford!
Parents can pick up their certificates in the front office or during our student/parent week packet pick-ups.

Milers: Great job to the following students for putting in their miles last week: Laya Vinay has completed 157.5
miles! Parents send me the names of your students and their miles completed so I can celebrate them in our newsletter!

Thursday: Pajama Day
Friday: Hat Day

Each day we will have student gift card drawings, mystery readers, drop everything and read
times, and Henderson Police Department will be reading to our students.
Student Packet Pick Up: The student pick-up is Friday, March 12th. There are file cabinets next to our front doors
of the school labeled with grades. The teachers will place all work into their file draw for pick-up the day before and
you may come and pick-up any work at anytime the day of pick-up (or later). Teachers will Dojo message parents if
there is work to be picked up and all students in Cohort A and B will get their work directly from their teacher.
School Schedule: Families, there are NO PARENTS allowed on campus for drop-off or pick-up, teachers will meet
their teachers at the following gate locations in the morning and take their classes to the same locations after school:
Gates will be unlocked by teachers at 8:50 am and locked at 3:31 pm
 Kindergarten: front of school, side gates, at the steps
 First Grade, PK, and Self-Contained: Bus gate area
 Second Grade: gates at Sandalwood, basketball courts
 Third Grade: bike racks

Kindergarten Graduation Pictures: Tuesday, March 9th Cohort A and Cohort C,

Friday March 12th Cohort B. Ms. Swinger’s class will take pictures on March 15th.
