Answering the question correctly you remove one layer of the

wrapping paper. Who gets to remove the last piece of wrapping

paper?
(You buy a present (i.e. a box of chocolates) and wrap it up.
Every second layer is newspaper and the other is Christmas
wrapping paper. Thus you can check the students only remove
one layer. The one to remove the last layer can keep the present!
You hand the present to one student who must answer the first question (a right
answer is needed) and then he can remove one layer. If the answer isn’t correct he
must pass the present on. It can easily fill out a lesson.

A variation:

Sometimes I play some (Christmas) music while the students sit in a circle passing
the present from hand to hand. When the music stops, the person holding the
present in his hands can take one layer off. The present must then be passed on and
the music continues. The winner is the person to remove the last layer of wrapping
paper.
