We are in receipt or your email to-day. We have noted the contents of the letter details of silo
construction.

Sub: providing, fixing and removing of Hydraulic Slipform Shuttering for silo.

We are very much thankful for your kind consideration to work with your esteemed Construction
Company as sub-contractor for specialised formworks. We are submitting our most competitive
price, now and we will submit compete Technical specification, methodologies for the below
mentioned item of work .

Our Scope of Work: For the structure to be constructed for the details are

1. Providing, fixing and removing Slip form Hydraulic Shuttering method . the slipform
form work will be up to 51 meter only.

Technical conditions and Limitations or reservation in construction of silos with vertical

Slipform shuttering.

a. For the above mentioned Scope of work: It is to inform your goodself that the
“slipform” the slipform shuttering will come to maximum of height of 1.25
meters in India and that is regular practice of shuttering for SLIPFORM in India.
This is for your kind information please. That’s why we have sent a mail to you
to know about the “The technical specifications of formwork given to you by
Client.

b. We feel that the area is much less than 6,000 square meters as per the data
sent by you.

2. Our basic offer for slipform and Information of our Quote.

i. The basic offer is we design, mobilize, fix/erect the slipform shuttering

on plain ground or a perfect base with a starter of height 150
mm. to 200 mm. height.
ii. Operate the slipform equipment till the height of slipform concrete or
below the pier cap.
iii. Remove immediately after the sliding/slipform operation completes.
iv. The formwork will be removed immediately after completion of
operation.
v. We feel that we can normally achieve 3.00 meters in one day of
operation that is in 24 hours concreting.
vi. After completion of slipform work the form work will be immediately
shifted to our stores to Mumbai or our local stores without any stoppage at
site.

3. slipform:

We request your goodself to inform us the date of start of slipform works along with
the details required by us in order to plan the work schedule and the availability of
work front such as how many pile caps are completed. Ready to fix formwork.

4. Arrangements from Your end the main Contractor : M/s.EAST COST
CONSTRUCTION CO Ltd.

i. Workers accommodation suitable for technical people with water and electricity
free.

ii. Arrangement s for concrete and rebar.

iii. Lowering /pouring the concrete in the form panels, vibration.

iv. Lifting, Lowering and fixing of rebar arrangements.

v. If the living accommodation is far from the site transportation will be arranged.

vi. From one structure to the other the equipment transportation at free of cost

vii. Insurance for workmen at your cost.

viii.Wooden planks for every structure 2” thickness. All around the inner Platform of
wide 1500mm or 2000mm. on the both sides of the platform consoles to be fixed
by us which are attached to the slipform equipment.

ix. Lighting arrangements at site, on deck.

x. Access tower arrangement for people going up and down.

xi. Temporary stores for hydraulic equipment store 500 square feet.

xii. Block outs or opening s if any.

5. Validation

i. Our quotation is valid subject to receipt of your enquiry letter for the above
mentioned project.

ii. We would like to inform you that our offer valid for minimum area of SLIPFORM
shuttering 6,000 Square meters as explained by you. The Slipform operation will
start from the ground level. Also subject to the drawings to be received by us the
drawings good for construction.

Iii. We will do only Slipform works.

iv. Generally we do not work with conventional formworks.

v. The quotation is subject the dimensions: i. Outer diameter/SIZE 3.500

METERSs, solid pier without reduction in diameter or change in shape till height,
till top of the structure. Height of structure should be minimum 50 meter.

vi. Our rates (budgetary quote for the construction of silo using slip-form
shutter) subject valid up to 45 days from the date of our quotation. The offer for
execution subject valid up to 30 days from the date of our quotation..

 6. Time Schedule:

. a. Mobilization of equipment : within 45

days (Forty five days) after Receipt of Work order.

b. Erection of Slipform equipment : 25days including

decking fixing.

b. Operation of Slipform Equipment : 26

days.

Up to 15 meters elevation.

d. Removal or Deshuttering of Slipform : 20

days.

To submit your schedule to the owners/Client you may have to add other
consumption of time for lighting, access cum concrete tower.

7. Other conditions:

a. We request you an amount Rs.25, 000/-(Rupees Twenty five thousand per

week) for our staff workers shall be paid in CASH at site. The same amount
will be adjusted in our accounts/billing amount.

8. Rate:

Our rate will be Rs.1,004/-(Rupees one thousand and four per each square meter
of surface area). The area will be calculating both inner and outer surfaces. The
approximate area will be 6,000(In words six thousand square meters) square
meters.(The rate is subject to minimum area of two thousand square meters) and
using of slipform equipment.

9. Payment Terms:

a. 20% mobilization advance with work order.

b. 10% after arrival of Slipform equipment to site.
c. 15% after erection of Slipform equipment.
d. Balance 50% will be paid on prorate basis on Slipform rate, the
area covered by Slipform.
e. 5% security will be released after six-month, completion of silo.

10. Jack rods.

The Slipform equipment to be operated with Hydraulic jacks and the jack rods to be supplied
by the owner, as the rods will be embedded in concrete generally in such RCC Structures
which will be act as reinforcement to RCC wall. Hence the jack rods of ms rods polished 25
Millie meter diameter of quantity 8000 kgs per structure if the jack rods to be embedded in
concrete which acts as re-inforcement, Shall be supplied by the owner.

Please send your Technical specification of formwork of the clientele through courier or /mail
immediately. Without the technical specifications receiving from your end please note that this
offer is invalid.
