ZEALOT
For more than a thousand years,
the Protoss of the Templar caste
have defended their people,
dedicating their long lives to the
pursuit of martial perfection.
Zealots are peerless warriors who
have yet to ascend to the
uppermost ranks of the Khala.
Ever eager for advancement, they
train for decades in hand-to-hand combat, tactics, pain
tolerance, and martial discipline. Their formidable
physiques are further enhanced by cybernetic implants and
power suits. Zealots use their substantial psionic abilities to
create blades of pure energy that serve as their primary
melee weapons.

GENERAL STRATEGY
UPGRADES
CHARGE: Allows Zealots to automatically intercept nearby enemies, and is a passive increase to their movement speed.
COUNTERMEASURES
VS Terran
Reapers are very effective against Zealots due to their speed and damage.
Getting the Nitro Packs upgrade will make them difficult to catch.
Hellions excel against Zealots after you research the Infernal Pre-Igniter
upgrade.
A mix of Marines and Marauders should do the job, but do not fight in the
open.
VS Zerg
Spawn an Infestor or two and cast Fungal Growth on the Zealots and use
VS Protoss
Phoenix Void Ray High Templar Dark Templar Archon Carrier Mothership

Man if you do a three gate and get a council you can put alot of pressur on toss in early game with charge zealots. but you should
probably do a tech switch to robo after your initial push. Hts dont do that well against protoss
never understood where these dudes mouths were, but they're cool

I love the unit but 200 min 200 gas is a rip for charge, especially in the early game. Since when are zealots strong against marauders?,
once they get concussive shells ( 50 min 50 gas ) they pawn z's like no other unit. Charge should be 100 mins 100 gas similar to the cost
It says that Zealots are weak against Roaches. Not true unless a zerg player has good micro. In a stand-still match zealot can beat a
BLIZZARD, MAJOR ERROR IN STATS. It says the Zealot's primary weapon is HALLUCINATION. Also, the Charge ability also talks about
hallucination.
Why cant the terran and zerg see thers no use beatin these unstoppable,true to their word,gratful,awesome, intellegent beings of wich we
have no idea how they eat,breath, or drink (no offence protoss nerds)

@SkyVanguard: In the Bronze League, that may very well be true, but Zealots are an essential component of the Protoss
army. They help protect the Stalkers from Marauders, counter Zerglings neat and clean, and do excellent economic damage
when dropped into an enemy mineral line. They do die more easily than most Protoss units, but I don't know what we'd do
without them.

A Zealot beats a Roach 1v1. Only totally awesome units beat their direct counter 1v1.

I Zealot Rush from 6-12 zealots. Normally it isn't to long till I have overwhelmed them with my gateway madness. I always build 2
gates...Always...
@DeathStalker: The best build for Protoss is 9 Pylon, 11-13 Gate, 14-15 Assimilator, 16 Pylon, Cybernetics Core. That's the
most stable build that can counter pretty much anything. Two gates is for rushing and countering/performing cheese only.
