COLOSSUS
The towering Colossus is a
Protoss robot design dating
back to the bloody conflicts of
the Kalath Intercession. It
strides across the battlefield
on four tall, slender legs that
allow it to cross steep
elevations with ease. The
Colossus’ heavily armored hull
carries two powerful Thermal Lances, with one on
each side of its body. The robot’s beam attack cuts a
broad swath across its targets, making the Colossus
an ideal anti-infantry weapon. Unlike most other
Protoss robots, the Colossus was created purely for
destruction. Manufacturing Colossi has been outlawed
for centuries, but the increasingly desperate war
against the Zerg has forced the Protoss to revive the
line.

VS Terran
Launch Vikings; their long air-to-air range will make it easy to bring the
Colossi down.
Engage with Banshees.
Build Thors and use their 250mm Strike Cannon ability.
VS Zerg
Spawn Ultralisks. Their high damage, armor, and health will allow them to
survive the Colossi onslaught. Be sure to research Chitinous Plating and
Anabolic Synthesis.
VS Protoss
Phoenix Void Ray High Templar Dark Templar Archon Carrier Mothership

since Colossi are so powerful and armored i guess it makes since that they can be attacked by anything ;)
Use Vikings against those tall 4 legged battle walkers when stalkers can totally stalk them? Nice try but Banshees can kill a Colossi just
as fast as Vikings do only they can cloak from Stalkers and kill them fast before being detected.

you get a robo core isto get a observer. anyway's Hts work much better on terran than collossus do.
Whats anabolic synthesis? It says Ultras can get it. But what is it?
I have no idea why the colossus doesn't just aim their lasers STRAIGHT to attack air units.
@motorman: Because they would be better than terran and that cant happen
Marauders and units that have more HP than Marines and Zealots might stand a chance but if not then they get stepped on.

i wouldn't rush to it, but its good against anything on the ground. a couple of them, a couple immorts and a bunch of stalkers and you
if they could fight air they would be great. protoss need better AA
@Cavyking: true, but stalkers make up for AA i think. A group of b stalks against most air doesnt stand a chance.
It would be really helpful if they put how many attacks the unit gets and not just the damage. It gives a false impression of how
powerful/weak units are without it. i.e. Colossus has 2 attacks, for a total of 30(42) damage.
@bleep-its a fatal engineering flaw. they dont have the joints to look up.

Why does it say you can get Anabolic Synthesis for ultras when you cant... i remember sc1 when that upgrade made ultras go as fast as
lol. though I know it wont happen, i'll dream of a colossus nerf vs hydralisks tonight.
