Accurate NEWSL ETTER

The first issue of the newsletter marks the completion of two

years of this initiative undertaken by the Institute under the
leadership of our Group Director Miss Poonam Sharma &
Director Prof. Dr A.R.Subramanian
The newsletter has served as a tool for disseminating
information about the Institute and generating valuable
feedback about its programs and events.
The last six months have been academically quite productive
at the Accurate Institute of Management &Technology. The
number of international seminars and guest lectures
organized by different departments of the Institute on themes
of contemporary relevance ,are indicative of the
responsiveness of the Institute to its environment in which it
operates. Similarly, a large number of publications
contributed by the faculty speaks for the academic health of
the institution.
The placements are in full swing and admission process has
commenced for the next session. Strict adherence to the
academic schedule inspires the confidence of all concerned. It
is hoped that the gains of the last few years will be
consolidated in the coming year during which it is expected in
giving a boost to the academic growth.

From the Director’s Desk :

“ Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress and working together is
success”

- Henry Ford

It is my indeed my privilege to relaunch the Accurate Newsletter for the community. Lord
Tennyson in one of his poem titled “ The Brook has depicted the quest of a stream to join the
brimming river, which inspires everyone of us to keep moving forward in life without
looking back, a few line of the same are below :

“I chatter, chatter, as I flow,

To join the brimming river,

For men may come and men may go,

But I go for ever”

The above symbolises the journey of a human being in his life. The human being as we
know is mortal but what we leave behind us for the next generation matters a lot. Even
today, Mahatma Gandhi is immortal and we remember him and this will stay perpetually as
we recall Buddha after many centuries.

The students are the future architects of India to take the legacy ahead. Having chosen,
management as a profession, we have to understand the imperatives to the journey further by
making contributions for the society in general and the family to which you belong to in your
endeavour. The world is quite competitive which you might have realized by now. Are you
preparing yourself to face the same. What are your plans – have you made a SWOT analysis
of yourself which could crystallise your aptitude and indicate your path for future journey.

Competitions do create formidable challenges for future. Nevertheless, path breaking

approaches can strengthen you to face the emerging challenges for setting your goals and
creating new milestones of achievements. In this journey, you need to develop confidence
from the past failures to transform them into achievements. Therefore, the immediate task in
your hand is to prioritise your objectives, complete the unfinished agenda, improving the
efficiency and dedicate yourself to pursue the agenda relentlessly.

Needless to say that the globalization has melted the cross border of nations where only
talent is the engine for innovation, for which is the fuel is KNOWLEDGE. Without
equipping yourself with adequate knowledge, waging war is not going to yield you any
positive result. Free trade i.e laissez-faire, is create a new global order of business by leading
economic integration and the ICT revolution has made geography and time irrelevant.

With the changing world and emerging challenges, we need to explore new world order of
opportunities to attain and build capacity, competitiveness and competency. To be a best
management graduate, one should acquire certain important skills such as soft skill,
communication skill, presentation and negotiation skill, motivational skills, interview skill
apart from the basic skill of reading, writing and listening. Continuous endeavour towards
self-development only will enhance you to reach the destiny. To captialise the opportunities
to the benefit of society, you should develop a global mindset without compromising with
Indian cultural heritage.

Let us put our efforts to prepare a winning strategy, widen the perspective to become the
champions.
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but how we react to what happens, not by
what life brings to us, but by attitude we bring to life.

My best wishes to all my beloved students.
