We have learned that an adverb describes or modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.

There are
different kinds of adverb one of them is an adverb of time. It tells when an action is done. It answers the question
when.

I will call you tonight.

My friend and I attended a party yesterday.

An adverb of place tells the place or the direction where an event or action happens. It answers the
question where. An adverb of place usually written in the end position or mid-position immediately after the verb.
Example:

The children are playing outside.

They drove northward on the highway.
