• Performing all the matters related to foreign exchange-Trade Operations on rotation basis
such as:

EXPORTS
i) Sight/Usance bills negotiation
ii) Documents scrutiny
iii) Dealing in Spot Rates for Import and Export Payments
iv) Foreign Exchange financing IN Exports (Dollar loans)
v) Performing export payments under collection and documentary credits
vi) LC Advising
vii) Transfer of LC
viii) Cargo Tracking and follow-up with foreign banks for bills Purchased/Discounted
ix) Complex transaction of Re-financing from the Central Bank of Pakistan
x) Duty Draw Back Claims
xi) Rebate of Profit against Performance based and other schemes of SBP
IMPORTS
i) Prepare the LC draft and check for any irregularities.
ii) Prepare final draft after checking and process the LC on MT 700
iii) Check for addition of confirming bank and reimbursing bank
iv) Issuing shipping Guarantee against margin/financing
v) Import / Export documents scrutiny as per UCP 600, ISBP etc
vi) Establishing Contracts on behalf of valid Performa Invoice
vii) Arranging Insurance Cover notes from the local Insurance company
viii) Making Import payments against LC & contract and in Advance.
ix) Scrutinize documents and inform the customers accordingly
x) Send discrepancies as per article 14.
xi) Provide the financing such as FIM and PAD against Import

REMITTANCES
Handling all the matters in executing Inward & outward remittances and related guidelines by
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and internal policies and procedures in particular includes the
following:

1) INWARD REMITANCES
i) Indenting Commission
ii) Personal/Home Remittances, Foreign Direct Investments etc

2) OUTWARD REMITTANCES
i) Agent Commission
ii) Educational Fees, Advertising Expense, Trade Exhibitions Charges and other commercial
Remittances
