24) Check operation of each compoents as
follows:
-, Check that the wire harnesses and
cables' are routed properly and are not
pinched, twisted or pulled taut in all
steering positions.
·2 Check that the radio is secure in its
mount, and that it can be removed
and installed easily with the key.
-3 Connect the battery negative cabie to
the battery negative terminal.
-4 With the ignition switch in the ACe
position, turn on the radio switch.
Check the radio and cassette deck for
proper operation.
-5 Recheck the harness and cable rout-
ings if there is any abnormality.
25) Check all bolts, nuts, screws and other
fasteners for security. Retighten if
necessary.
26) I nstall the headlight.
-, Refer to Step 6 and Fig. 14.
NOTE: Check that the headlight
aiming gears are engaged properly.
27) Install the windshield and windshield
garnish.
28) I nstall the left fairing pocket.
NOTE: Re-arrange and secure the har-
nesses with the harness clamp on the
main amplifier, if difficulty is en-
countered in installing the pocket In
the fairing.
29) Install the shelter, seat and side covers.
30) Install the inner cover.
NOTE:
Follow all safety nots and precautions
described in the owner's manual and
caution label on the back of the case.

through the nole into the fairing
(same hole through which the antenna

22 mm socket head bolts.
Press the caps into the recesses of the
socket bolt heads.
22) Arrange the wire harnesses inside the
fairing as close to the bottom as possible,
and secure with the wire clamp at the
lower end of the main amplifier.
