TRANSALPINIA

( Armin Kofler )

Der Konzertmarsch "Transalpinia" stellt, wie der Name bereits suggeriert, eine
künstlerische Nord-Süd Brücke über die Alpen dar. Auftraggeber des Marsches war der
Musikverein Unterjettingen, der eine langjährige Freundschaft zur Banda Musicale aus
Luicciana unterhält. Somit ist es nicht überraschend, dass im Marsch die unterschiedlichen
Stile nördlich und südlich der Alpen miteinandern vermischt und verbunden werden. Um
diesen Bezug noch zu verstärken, werden in kurzen Zwischenteilen und Übergängen
Volkslieder aus der jeweiligen Region in abgewandelter Form zitiert, bis der Marsch
schließlich in einem eingängiger Trio-Melodie mündet.
