SUBJECT PREREQUISITES/COREQUISITES: MAPEH 05
SUBJECT DESCRIPTION: Through exploration, the learner demonstrates a deeper
understanding of basic knowledge and skills in music and art,
towards self-development, the celebration of Filipino cultural
identity and diversity, and expansion of one’s world vision.

GENERAL SUBJECT OBJECTIVES:

Upon successful completion of this subject, the student should be able to:

A. Explains ideas about the logo (AK)

B. Realizes that art processes, elements and principles will apply even with the use of new
technologies (AK)

C. Applies concepts on the use of the software (command, menu, etc.) (MM)

D. Know the basic procedure in using different softwares in making digital designs(AK)

E. Applies concepts on the use of the software (command, menu, etc.) (MM)

F. Applies skills lay outing and photo editing using new technologies (hardware and software) in
making poster. (MM)

G. Realizes that art process elements and principles still apply even with the use of technologies
(MM)

H. Knows that design principles still apply for any new design (contrast of colors, shapes, and
lines produces harmony) whether done by hand or machine (computer).

I. Understands that digital technology has speeded up the printing of original designs and made
it accessible to many, as emphasized in t-shirt

J. Realizes that art processes, elements, and principles still apply even with the use of
technologies

K. Understands concepts and principles of photography

L. Identifies the parts and functions of the camera (point and shoot or phone camera).

M. Applies concepts on the steps/procedure in silkscreen printing

N. Applies composition skills to produce a printed photograph for a simple photo essay

O. Participates in school/district exhibit and culminating activity in celebration of the National


Arts Month (February)

P. Produces own prints from original design to silkscreen printing to convey a message or
statement.

Q. Knows that design principles and elements relate to everyday objects.

R. Manifests understanding of concepts on the use of software (commands, menu, etc.)
