Completed my Master's internship with Catavino Marketing, which specializes in consulting wineries on how to
market their brand on the Internet using social media and Web 2.0 technology. They also speak at numerous wine
events/fairs/conferences in both Europe and the US on these topics. I continue to work on a project-to-project basis
doing research and development on their various expansion projects
Internship ▪ 2008
Le Pressoir Wine Shop – Lyon, Rhone-Alpes, France
Worked on french language skills concerning wine and spent time learning about french wine regions under
guidance of the store owner, aided the owner with store duties, organizing wine tastings, helping clients with wine
purchases, attended trade-only wine conventions with the owner to make wine purchases for the store.

Founded “BYOW: Bring Your Own Wine”: A Wine Education & Tasting Group: 2007-2009
Created and facilitated weekly tasting sessions of a group of roughly 20 people in which we spent time to learn
about, taste and compare wines from different countries, years, styles, grape types, vintages, etc.
