I find it laughable, too, that you'd talk about the lyrical themes in metal; saying it's all 'pseudo-
satanic references.' For one; some of the best bands in the world have used Satanic references- Led
Zeppelin (Achilles' Last Stand), Pink Floyd, literally some of the best bands ever
And not just that; most good metal bands don't go for 'pseudo satanic' references anyway.
The best political music in the world; is punk and metal.

Led Zeppelin - ripped most of the songs of other bands. Pink Floyd were only good at the start, then
descended into proggy shit.
I think you'll find soulful music like Marvin Gaye's What's Going on and Billie Holiday's Strange
Fruit are a lot politically effective and moving than any metal song.
Reggae spreads the message of peace and love, while metal expresses anger and torment.

The afterlife, Christian control over the world, the plight of condemened criminals, the problems
with prison welfare, the paradox of MAD, Shakespearen themes, rising gas prices, brotherhood,
America's huge powers.
Those are all messages from metal songs I've listened to in the past day.
Metal expresses all those things. Not just 'anger and torment'. You're relying on stereotypes, and
your own biased fuckin' views. XD
