ABOUT THE COLLEGE
in the areas relevant to Electronics and
EASWARI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (EEC) a division of SRM Group of
Institutions, lead by visionary leaders, the founder Chairman
Dr. T. R. Paarivendhar and the Chairman Dr. R. Shivakumar. The
College was established in the year 1996. The college was granted
Autonomy by UGC in 2019. It offers eleven UG and six PG
programmes including Engineering, Technology and Management.
All UG and PG programmes have secured Permanent Affiliation
(except newly commenced). The institution is accredited by NAAC
with ‘A’ grade, Accredited by NBA, New Delhi and ISO 9001:2015

certified. Easwari Engineering College has secured 200 rank in
National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of
Human Resource Development, Govt.of India 2019 ranking results
and 21st among 197 colleges participated in Tamilnadu Engineering
Colleges. The Institution is aligned with Central Government
initiatives like Digital India, Skilling India, Unnat Jyothi, Swachh
Bharat, Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. The
institution has got 5th position in Swachh Campus Ranking in
Higher Educational Institutions under Non-Residential College,
AICTE by MHRD. The institution is recognized as Mentor Institution
under AICTE Margadarshan Scheme. The Institute is recognized by
Department of Scientific and Industrial Research Organization
(SIRO) and received funding from various Government Agencies
for sponsored research including FIST from DST.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
In order to meet the wide range of challenging and very rapidly
growing global demands for professional, the Department of
Electronics and Communication Engineering was established
since inception of the college in the year 1996. The department has
been sanctioned with an intake of 180 students in U.G. and an intake
of 18 students in P.G. course (M.E. Communication Systems). The
department has secured permanent affiliation from Anna
University and is accredited by NBA. In pursuit of excellence, the
department is recognised as nodal centre for research by Anna
University to pursue Ph.D.
