Dear Parents,

We would like to enter a group of selected children into a ballet examination for the new syllabus that
we have been studying since September. The exam date is November 25th so we have very little time
to teach the whole syllabus to them – we would normally work for at least 3 terms. For this reason if you
would like your daughter to take the exam she will need to attend at least two ballet classes per week
and preferably three.

Grade 3 classes are on Friday and Saturday . I am teaching the syllabus in both the grade 3 and grade
4 classes so if possible the children should come to both. There is an additional class on a Monday
from 5.15 – 6.00pm with Mrs Thomas , see me for more details.
I also need the exam fee as soon as possible it is £36. Please put in an envelope with name on.

We have become increasingly dissatisfied with the previous examination syllabus and are confident
that these new exams will prove to be more fulfilling for the children both in achievement and as a
happy experience.
