 SYNOPSIS

The project entitled as “CAR SHOWROOM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is

used to store the inventory automation in the car show room. It is simple window based
GUI (Graphical User Interface) application that facilitate user friendly environment. It
helps the end user to store the car details and car purchase details.

This system is very useful to the administrator to maintain all daily activities in
the car show room. This project is to minimize the workload of the administrator and the
user.

The proposed system aims to computerize all the manual work done in the Car
Showroom. Computerizing this activity helps to avoid duplication, errors and ease
management. The system maintains the customer details, supplier details, purchase
details, sale details and it also maintain the fixed rate of price charts. The system
developed as a user friendly.

This project is not only for storing purchase details, sales details it gives lots of
tips about vehicle purchase and maintenance. The familiar car model images and the
information about car are available to be viewed. The car show room management
maintains the details of purchase, sales details, model, extraordinary parts, stock details,
purchase return, customer details and employee details manually.

Business portability mainly helps the organization in easy of business. Here the
systems address computerization of the car showroom. Computerizing this activity helps
to avoid duplication, errors and easy management.

This project is developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as a Front-End and
Microsoft SQL Server as a Back-End under Microsoft Windows XP Professional
platform.
