Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp

13489 Maries Road 301, Vienna, MO 65582 (573) 744-5843 www.turkeyhillranch.com

Dear Saints,

We had an amazing 2010 camp season with over 140 professions of faith in the
Lord Jesus Christ. Now, we are preparing for the 2011 camp season and ask
you to consider how God might use your unique abilities, spiritual gifts, talents,
and personality to help reach the unsaved for Christ. We pray the Lord will direct
you in how you might be used this summer for His glory.

We have some exciting things planned for our staff this year. First, we are
dropping the first Teen Camp and making that week one of intensive Bible study
and practical application. Secondly, we are going to have daily Bible teaching for
our staffers by teachers brought in specifically for that purpose. This program will
last the entire camp season and will be of great benefit to those who staff this
year. Some of the subject matter will include: Book Studies; Christian Living
Issues: Temptation, Will of God, Discernment, Christian Liberty, Relationships,
Personal Holiness, The Fight; Topical Studies: Spiritual Gifts, Headship, Head
Covering. Etc.

If you desire to be part of this exciting camp season, please fill out and return the
enclosed application. PLEASE RETURN IT BEFORE MAY 1ST IN ORDER TO
BE CONSIDERED. The minimum age for being on staff is 15 years of age. YOU
MUST HAVE AN ELDER OR CHURCH LEADER PROVIDE THE INFORMATION
REQUESTED AT THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 2 OR YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE
FOR STAFFING! Those elders/church leaders should return the completed
information directly to Turkey Hill, attention: Sonny Williams. IT IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE ALL INFORMATION IS PROVIDED; IF IT IS
NOT, YOU MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR STAFF.

If you are planning on staffing at camp in 2011, plan on attending staff training
June 1-4. Training begins around 2 P.M. on the 1st. I would also encourage you
to attend one of the satellite Leadership Training sessions; dates and locations
will be posted on our web site at www.turkeyhillranch.com. Please invite your
friends to attend as well.
In Christ,

Sonny Williams

Staff Guidelines-Applicant Must Read and Sign
These guidelines are for the benefit of the entire staff. They are designed to insure that the testimonies of
both the individual staff person and of the camp are consistent with the character of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Your acceptance to serve at the camp indicates your consent to abide by the spirit of these general
guidelines. This may require some personal sacrifice or changes in order to effectively accomplish the goal
of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

1) I understand that both my attitudes and conduct, on campus and off, reflect on the Lord
Jesus Christ and the ministry of the camp. I will strive to please the Lord in these areas
and to obey those placed in authority over me at camp.

2) I will not participate in activities involving tobacco products, alcoholic beverages,

recreational drugs, or pornographic materials either on or off campus.

3) I will not bring a television to camp. I understand CD players and radios may only be used
in staff quarters (Oak Lodge) and all music I bring will be Christian in nature and subject to
acceptability by those in authority at camp. Mobile phones are permissible but limited in
usage to free time (separated from campers) or emergencies and are subject to Head
Counselor guidelines. Mobile phones are not to be loaned to campers for usage.

4) I will not leave the campgrounds without permission of the camp Administrator, Director, or
Head Counselor.

5) I will seek to present myself above reproach in all matters such as relationships,
conversations, dress and appearance, personal hygiene, and behavior in general.
.
6) I will treat other staff and campers with respect and consideration. I will not administer
any corporal punishment (i.e. spanking) to the campers, but defer all such extremely
difficult behavior cases to the Camp Director or Head Counselor(s).

7) I am willing to serve however and wherever needed and do so “as unto the Lord” as
commanded by His Word.

8) I understand that this camp is a faith-based ministry meaning that I expect no financial
compensation from the camp for my service.

9) I understand that the camp seeks to follow New Testament principles for gathering. For
example, women are encouraged to wear a head covering during chapel and group prayer
times (I Cor. 11) and men are encouraged to take the vocal leadership during group
ministry times (I Cor. 14:26-40 & I Tim 2:8-15).

10) I acknowledge the information in this Staff Application is accurate and I understand that
the authorities at camp may contact my parents or church leaders concerning any or all of
the items in this application.

11) Concerning medical care: I understand that I may not keep any medications in camper
cabins while I am counseling. I understand that I may keep some medications
(prescription as well as non-prescription) in my staff cabin. EXCEPTIONS INCLUDE:
strong pain medications (e.g. narcotics) as well as mood-altering drugs (mental health
medications). These will be turned into the camp nurse, and she will administer them.
