VIDYUT SAHAYAK (JUNIOR ENGINEER) – B.E. (IT/COMPUTER)

D.G.V.C.L. a largest and renowned power distribution company operating in

South Gujarat, invites applications from Graduate Engineers in branch of
IT/COMPUTER for its IT Department, which is support system with ERP. The
selected candidate will have to perform in ERP, Dynamic Web Development,
Website Management and keeping internal networks running, Search Engine
Optimization / Google Ad Word, IT Support. They shall have to shoulder
responsibility for installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication
networks within an organization or between organisations, Maintenance and
upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on upgrades
needed, trouble shooting routine problems and maintenance of servers and
internal software. The Work Profile may be changed as per Company’s
requirement.
The candidate should have Knowledge of C++ , ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Java &
Java Script, PHP, MS Sql Server, Oracle PL_SQL Architecture, UML and
Object Oriented designing, proposing and creating architecture and re-Usable
libraries in.NET and JavaScript, Networking with LAN/WAN, Manageable switch
/ router & wireless LAN with the network security, firewall & anti virus. Operating
System – DOS, Novel, Window OS client & server & Linux OS-client & Server.
Web Services, Window Services, JSON, JQuery, will be an added plus, XML,
HTML,CSS,GIS,GPS, Client server Technology, Grid Computing, Distributed
OS, Image processing, Digital signal processing, Image processing, VLSI,
Embaded System etc. & latest trends.

The candidates meeting with following criteria are requested to apply in

attached prescribed format.
1 Qualification:
Graduate B.E (IT/Computer) from a recognized University approved by AICTE.

2 Percentage(%) in Graduation:
U.R. category : 60 % in the 7th & 8th Semester/last year of Graduation. Reserved
category (SEBC/SC): 55% in the 7th & 8th semester/last year of Graduation.
Candidates belongs to ST category can also apply provided that they meet with the
criteria prescribed for U.R (General) category.

3 Age limit:( As on 1/03/2011):

30 years for General category and 35 years for SEBC/SC category candidates.
Relaxation in upper age limit to Female Candidates shall be given for 05 Years.

4 Remuneration:

Fixed remuneration for 1st and 2nd year would be Rs.13000/- and Rs.14000/- respectively
per month. No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except coverage under
Personal Accident Policy etc. as per GSO 332 dated 03.02.03

5 Vacancies: Approx. 21 IT Engineer (including SEBC-04/SC-02/General)

Above vacancies are under various offices of Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Limited.

6. The management reserves the right to short-list the candidates for selection by
conducting the written test. The question paper for written test will comprise 100%
objective type questions covering the subjects as above.

7. The selected Vidyut Sahayak (Jr. Engineer) shall be initially appointed for duration of two
years and shall be considered for appointment to the post of Jr. Engineer. in the pay scale
of Rs.17300-38610 subject to completion of the period of two years as Vidyut Sahayak to
the satisfaction of DGVCL.

8. SEBC candidates shall have to submit latest creamy layer Certificate.(i.e. 01.04.10 to
31.03.2011)

9. Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection.

10. Caste (Roster category) Certificate of Gujarat state only will be considered.

11. Incomplete applications, applications without enclosures, or applications received after the
due date will be rejected.
