architectural and financial services, as well as advertising, marketing and media firms, I was able to link business

CAREER HISTORY WITH SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Human Resources Director, David Barton Inc., 2010 to 2011. Recruited to build HR infrastructure for $30M
hospitality/fitness center chain, including federal, state and local compliance, recruiting, talent management,
benefits plan design, compensation structure and worker's compensation plan until recent company merger.

• Built organization development plan for $30M firm. Growing chain of David Barton high-end fitness
centers needed organizational development infrastructure to ensure corporate culture was preserved.
Recruited to develop and implement a comprehensive HR and OD program for six gyms in four states.

HR Director, FXFowle Architects, LLP, 2008 to 2010. For $10M firm, directed all HR functions and administration
with staff of 18. Managed oversight of 40% RIF for New York City and Dubai offices.

• Developed employee ranking guidelines for RIF program. Faced with realization the economy was
going to hit FXFowle Architects, management planned for downsizing. Suggested GE approach of forced
ranking. Successfully separated A-players from underachievers, allowing for a 40% reduction in force to
remain profitable.

• Designed and implemented new mentoring program. FXFowle Architects had failing mentor program.
Recruited to created new program materials with concise goals. Developed pilot program to ensure
movement and satisfaction. Several mentees passed certification as registered architects and went on to
become LEED certified.

HR Director, Rapp Collins Worldwide, 2004 to 2008. Directed HR for $250M agency. High volume full-cycle
recruiting. Streamlined processes for NY/Dallas/LA sites, established intern program and led talent management.

• Overhauled inefficient performance reviews. Inherited Rapp Collins performance review system that
was time-consuming and lightly regarded. Held focus groups to learn likes and dislikes. Created OD plan
with 360 feedback and SMART goals. Trained leaders on delivery. Participation jumped to 90% versus
25% in old plan.

• Successfully recruited head of growing healthcare division. Charged with leading executive search for
Rapp Collins division. Presented options to Managing Director, focusing on best candidate with healthcare
qualifications. The selected candidate performed above expectation and was eventually promoted to Global
Chief Client Officer.

CAREER HISTORY WITH SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS – CONT.

HR Mgr., Dennis Publishing US, 2000 to 2004. Department head, overseeing five staff for $300M firm in NYC, Los
Angeles and San Francisco. Led HRIS, 401k design and implementation. Planned and staged employee events.

• Created 401k matching program to heighten retention. Placed in charge of recruiting/retention when
Dennis Publishing was at the height of its success. Convinced CFO and President on cost/benefit of a 401k
match. Improved competitive recruiting stance and employee morale. Participation in plan jumped from
20% to 65%.
Compensation & Benefits Specialist, American Business Financial Services, 1997 to 2000. Assisted with all HR
functions, created and implemented new employee training, wrote offer letters and contracts, interviewed new
talent and conducted new hire orientation, evaluated benefit plan design and conducted open enrollments.

Assistant Business Mgr., Jamedia Advertising, 1995 to 1996. Managed office and worked on print ads for clients.

Broadcast Business Coordinator, Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer, 1991 to 1995. Worked with
producers to complete production contracts and with talent agencies to secure talent.
