A recession is a contraction phase of the business cycle where significant decline in economic
activity lasts more than a few months, which is normally visible in real GDP, real income,
employment, industrial production, and wholesale-retail sales. The economic crisis of 2008/2009
has touched every industry and profession, radically altering the hiring landscape. Major layoffs,
rising unemployment, and lowered profits have reshaped the way workers are hired and fired,
and dramatically highlighted the need to rethink workforce planning.
Here, we wanted to find out how and what steps they took in response to the crisis, how their
priorities and practices have changed.

Almost all the rich countries have got badly hurt from the recession. So, there is no reason to be
surprised to know that Indian economy is also hurts from the global economic recession.

We conducted primary research among HR managers to emerge with how companies have acted
and reacted to recession, as well as recommendations on how leaders can take a proactive
approach for the future.

Innovative HR practices build competencies and capabilities for superior and winning
performances today and simultaneously create long business ideas and strategies for future. With
growing economic globalization and knowledge economy development, the organizations with
the outstanding heterogeneous issues are facing unprecedented challenges. Therefore, the
research on the significant impact of heterogeneity on human resource, human capital has been
conducted.

The paper explains the challenges that a top level management of corporate world faces
economic crisis. How can the management of industries hold on to their ethical value systems of
wage cuts and job assurance given to employees at the time of recruitment is questionable.
Hence in the competitive world the organization should have the innovative ideas which can lead
the organization to success. Human Resource leader should follow creative practices that
practices should help to develop the employer as well as employee.
The paper includes how the human resource can help the company fight the recession and
the innovative HR practices undertaken during recession prriod


   


Scope of the Research is limited to do the Survey of Industrial area of Pimpri-Chinchwad region
and finding out the innovative HR practices that has been adopted by small and large scale
companies in the area, and collecting vital suggestions and recommendations from HR managers
of the companies for dealing with the recession period.


  
The Primary objective of the research is to survey few large scale industries In Pimpri-Chinchwad area
with secondary objectives,

Problem Statement-

Managers are always curious about the position of their company in the market, its performance,
Profitability, Brand Image, which depends on the companies Policies Regarding HR alog with
Marketing, Finance, Operation and other fields of the Company. Here, we wanted to find out
how and what steps they are taking in response to the crisis, how their priorities and practices
have changed, and what they predict the HR landscape will look like as the economy recovers.

consideration:-

1. Main aim is to analyse the stocking of different milk brands with the retailers and so as to find
the MARKET SHARE of Amul milk as compared with competing brands in Talegaon market.

2. To find the distribution of packaged Milk Brands in the given Area.

3. To know the retailer and consumer satisfaction Level.

4. To know the consumer response to the quality of the product.

5. To analyze service quality and distribution of Amul milk in Talegaon market

6. To collect the valuable suggestions of the retailers and consumer.
