B. Development of
the Lesson
1. Ask the class about the pictures.
a. What can you say about the
pictures?
b. Why is it that there is
landforms?
c. What is the significant of the
different landforms?
2. Discussion of the different
landforms and events that happened
due to tectonic process.
Tectonic movements
In the Earth’s crust there are different
movements which cause changes in
the crust of the Earth .

These movements are called Tectonic

movements because they build major
landforms on the Earth surface.

External process
External process are those,
which operate on the surface of
the crust by external agents of
weathering and denudation.
These includes the work of river,
glaciers, winds and waves. It is
also called destructive process,
as they tend to reduce the

C. Generalization
In the formation of landform there are
different processes to be consider. It
maybe due to the movement of the
earth or it could be due to the natural
happening in the earth such as
weathering.floods,tsunami and other
calamity which brings destruction in
our environment.
IV. Evaluation
1. Writing an essay
a. Discuss in two to three
paragraph the formation of
landforms.
b. What are the effects of the
process of the formation of
landforms to our environment?
V. Assignment

the lesson 10.

C. Generalization
Vegetation is a general term for
the plant life of a region; it refers to
the ground cover provided by plants.
It is a general term, without specific
reference to particular tax, life
forms, structure, spatial extent, or
any other specific botanical or
geographic characteristics. It is
broader than the term flora which
refers exclusively to species
World Natural Vegetation
The types of natural vegetation shown on this Natural
vegetation Map are Tundra and Mountain Vegetation,
Needle leaf Evergreen Forest, Mixed Needle leaf
Evergreen and Broadleaf Deciduous Woodland,
Broadleaf Deciduous Woodland, Mid-latitude Grassland,
Evergreen Broadleaf and Deciduous Trees and Shrubs,
Semi-desert Scrub, Desert, Tropical Grassland, Tropical
Broadleaf Rainforest and Monsoon Forest and
Subtropical Broadleaf and Needle leaf Forest. The
Natural Vegetation Map shows that the vegetation
distribution is so varied throughout the world.
IV. Evaluation

1. Discuss briefly the types of

vegetation.
2. Give examples in every types of
vegetation.
V. Assignment

1.Draw an example in every

vegetation.
