Zu Beginn
Systemanforderungen
Um die Szenerie „Genf professional“ möglichst störungsfrei anfliegen
zu können, benötigen Sie:
• Lockheed Martin Prepar3D V4
• Betriebssystem: Microsoft Windows 10 (64bit)
• Prozessor: Quad-Core-CPU mit 3,5 GHz
• Arbeitsspeicher: 16 GB DDR4-RAM mit 2666 MHz
• Grafikkarte: 4 GB mit DirectX 11
• Freier Festplattenspeicher: 1,5 GB (SSD dringend empfohlen)
Installation
Sie müssen als Administrator angemeldet sein, bevor Sie mit der
Installation von „Genf professional“ beginnen können.
Um die Installation zu beginnen, starten Sie einfach die Download-
Datei bzw. das Setup von der DVD. Nach der Sprachauswahl erschei-
nen zunächst einige Informationen und die Lizenzbedingungen. Lesen
Sie sich die Informationen bitte sorgfältig durch und klicken Sie dann
auf „Weiter“. Anschließend werden Sie zur Eingabe Ihrer E-Mail-
Adresse und des Produkt-Keys aufgefordert. Bitte geben Sie diese
Daten genauso ein, wie sie in der Bestätigungsmail unseres Online-
Shops zu lesen sind, falls Sie den Download erworben haben.
Danach wird das Installationsverzeichnis (Verzeichnis von Prepar3D)
automatisch gesucht und überprüft. Sollte die Installationsroutine das
Prepar3D-Verzeichnis nicht finden oder Sie ein anderes Verzeichnis
auswählen wollen, so können Sie dieses über den „Durchsuchen”-
Button festlegen.
Die Installationsroutine kopiert nun im Einzelnen die Daten der

Szenerie „Genf professional“ in das Zielverzeichnis und meldet die
Szenerie in der Szeneriebibliothek an.

Deinstallation
Um die Szenerie zu deinstallieren, klicken Sie bitte auf die Windows
Start-Schaltfläche. Klicken Sie dann auf „Systemsteuerung“ und
schließlich auf „Programme“ oder „Programme und Funktionen“.
Klicken Sie auf die Szenerie, die Sie deinstallieren möchten, und
folgen Sie den Anweisungen.

Technische Hinweise Konfigurationstool

Um die Szenerie „Genf professional“ optimal an die Leistungsfähig-
keit des eigenen PC anpassen zu können, haben wir ein Konfigurati-

Szenerie aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren.
Das Konfigurationstool ist über die entsprechende Verknüpfung im
Windows-Startmenü abrufbar.

Wenn Sie Prepar3D V3 (oder neuer) nutzen, können Sie Frank,

unseren Piloten, als Avatar benutzen (siehe die P3D-Dokumentation
für Informationen zu Avataren). Wenn Sie ein Flugzeug auswählen,
können Sie den Avatar mitladen lassen. Frank kann mit jedem
Flugzeug geladen werden. Er kann stillstehen, gehen, rennen, in die
Hocke gehen, gehockt gehen, wieder aufstehen, springen,
schwim¬men und fallen; all dies über die normale P3D-Steuerung.
Um den Avatar erscheinen zu lassen, nutzen Sie den Befehl
[Umsch]+[Strg]+[E] in einer Außenansicht eines Flugzeugs oder Im Feld „Add-on“ können Sie die Szenerie „Genf professional“
Fahrzeugs. Sie können den Avatar dann nutzen, um die Szenerie zu aktivieren oder deaktivieren. „Enabled“ bedeutet, die Szenerie ist in
erkunden. Prepar3D aktiv. Diese Option sollte immer auf „Enabled“ stehen.
Im Feld „Dynamic Display Engine” können Sie die Dynamic Display
Engine ein- bzw. ausschalten. Die Dynamic Display Engine wird zur
Darstellung der Lichter benötigt und sollte deshalb auch immer auf
„Enabled“ stehen.

Unter „Select Option“ können Sie verschieden optionale Funktionen
aktivieren.
Static Airplanes
Es werden zusätzlich statische Flugzeug auf dem Airport platziert.
SODE Jetways
Es werden die SODE-Jetways anstelle der Standard-Jetways genutzt.
Hierfür benötigen Sie zusätzlich das Tool „SODE“.
Dynamic Traffic
Es wird dynamischer Fahrzeugverkehr aktiviert.
Um Ihre getroffene Auswahl zu speichern, klicken Sie auf „Accept“.
Dynamic Display Engine
Gemeinsam mit der eigentlichen Flughafen-Szenerie wird auch die
Dynamic Display Engine installiert. Dieses Tool erscheint als eigenstän-
diges Add-on in der Liste der installierten Add-ons in Prepar3D.
Die Dynamic Display Engine erlaubt das Anzeigen verschiedenster
Objekte im Simulator in Abhängigkeit unterschiedlicher Parameter. In
unserer Szenerie „Genf professional“ nutzen wir die Dynamic Display
Engine, um die Airportbeleuchtung abhängig von Tageszeit und
Wetterbedingungen darzustellen.
Für die Zukunft ist die Nutzung der Dynamic Display Engine auch in
anderen Airports und mit weiteren Funktionen geplant.

Der Flughafen
Deutsch
Der Airport Genf ist nach Zürich der zweitwichtigste Flughafen der
Schweiz. 2017 wurden hier über 17 Millionen Passagiere abgefertigt.
Er liegt etwa 4 km nordwestlich des Stadtzentrums direkt an der
Grenze zu Frankreich. Damit ist der Flughafen Genf nicht nur für die
Schweiz von Bedeutung, sondern auch für die angrenzenden Gebiete
in Frankreich, besonders seitdem die Schweiz dem Schengener
Abkommen beigetreten ist.
Der Flughafen verfügt über zwei Terminals, T1 und T2. T1 ist in fünf
Fluggastbereiche eingeteilt (A, B, C, D und F). Der Bereich A und ein
Teil des Bereiches D sind für Flugziele innerhalb des Schengen-Raums
reserviert, die anderen Bereiche dienen Flügen außerhalb des Schen-
gen-Raums. Der bisherige Pier C war eigentlich eine provisorische
Lösung um drei Großraumflugzeuge abzufertigen. 2012 wurde der
Beschluss gefasst, diesen Bereich umfassend zu modernisieren und
durch einen neuen „Ostflügel“ (Aile Est) zu ersetzen. Es sollen hier
Stellplätze für sechs Großraumflugzeuge entstehen. Dieser neue
Flügel ist gegenwärtig im Bau, die Fertigstellung ist für 2020 geplant.

Technical Advice
The Avatar Frank
In Prepar3D V3 (or later) you will be able to use Frank, our pilot, as
the avatar (see the P3D documentation about information on avatars).
When selecting an aircraft, you can also select the avatar to be
loaded. You can load Frank with any aircraft. He is able to stand idle,
walk, run, stand to crouch, walk while crouching, crouch to stand,
jump, swim and fall, all using the default P3D commands. To spawn
the avatar, go to any external view of an aircraft or vehicle and use
the [Shift]-[Ctrl]-[E] command. You can then use the avatar to explore
the scenery.

Configuration tools
We included a configuration tool to allow optimization of some
parameters according to the performance of the user’s PC. You can
access this tool via the Windows start menu.

This option allows you to enable or disable the scenery “Geneva
professional” in Prepar3D. This option should be set to “Enabled”.
Dynamic Display Engine
Enables or disables the Dynamic Display Engine. The Dynamic Display
