Fronius DATCOM
Network card that is required by every Fronius IG that is integrated into a data communication system. Each com card can
supply up to three additional data communication components with power. A plug-in power supply unit is required for
additional components. See plug-in power supply unit
Used for data management and archiving. Comes in two versions: "easy" (for systems with 1 Fronius IG) and "pro" (for
systems with up to 100 Fronius IG inverters and 10 sensor cards). The card should be used for minimal distances between
the inverter and PC, and the box should be used for longer distances (~25 m).
Note: Exactly one datalogger is required per system for system monitoring. It is not possible to combine several "easy" dataloggers in one
system. The "pro" datalogger should be used for systems with at least 2 (up to 100) Fronius IG inverters.
Definition of terms:
*) integrated: card that is already integrated into the inverter upon delivery
**) retrofit: card that is installed into the inverter subsequent to delivery

Fronius DATCOM
Internet-capable datalogger with the functionality of a small web server. Automatically converts PV system data into a web
site and enables you to display the data via Fronius Solar.access, via the web site of Fronius Datalogger Web as well as via
Fronius Solar.web.
New! Now with WLAN functionality and integrated power supply function.
Has a serial interface with an open data protocol, enabling PV system data to be read from the inverter for further
processing, for example, through:
- Integration of system data in other IT systems (e.g., building control, alarm systems)
- Data transfer to a PC for other display purposes (e.g., to include PV data on a homepage)
- Interface to other data logging systems

Fronius DATCOM
This combines a datalogger and interface card in one housing - saving costs and installation time. Especially well-suited for
PV system being equipped with a data communication system for the first time.

**) retrofit: card that is installed into the inverter subsequent to delivery
Has a serial interface with an open data protocol, enabling PV system data to be read from the inverter for further
processing, for example:
Note: Because the Interface Card easy is not a LocalNet component, it requires neither a com card nor a datalogger for operation. The
Interface Card easy can be used for Fronius IG inverter serial numbers 14330071 and higher following a software update. A software
update is no longer required for serial numbers 1715xxxx and higher. In the case of older Fronius IG inverters, a hardware update is
required in addition to the software update.

*) integrated: card that is already integrated into the inverter upon delivery
**) retrofit: card that is installed into the inverter subsequent to delivery

The Fronius String Control 250/25 enables the monitoring of up to 25 module strings with a total current of up to 250
amperes. It is compatible with all Fronius inverters and is particularly effective in combination with Fronius central inverters.
This product has been developed especially for the French and British markets and has been adapted to comply with the
local statutory regulations. With regard to technical specifications, the Fronius String Control 250/25 DCD DF matches those
of the existing Fronius String Control 250/25; however, it also includes additional safety precautions, e. g.: an all-pole fuse
protection of the strings on the DC side, an integrated external DC disconnector that allows the PV generator to be safely
isolated from the inverter.
