Center for Biological Dentistry

Ezekiel N. Lagos, DDS

Information for Caregivers and Patients
Referred by Dr. Huggins

1. Biocompatibility Exam. If the dental revision is designed to help in

the restoration process of the patient’s immune system the materials
should be accepted in the same manner as the patient’s own tissues.
It is for this reason that a biocompatibility test is necessary and the
patient is required to complete it prior to scheduling an appointment.
The biocompatibility test will provide valuable information to aid in the
selection of dental materials that are least reactive to the patient’s
immune system. For more information on how to begin this process for
the Biocompatibility Test, please call Biocomp Laboratories toll-free
number: (800) 331-2303. http://www.shslab.com/dental_toxicity.html

2. Assist Report. To achieve a complete restoration of the patient’s

immune system the dental revision must be followed by a program to
balance the body’s chemistries with special nutrition and biological
supplementation. Designed by Dr. Hal Huggins, the Assist Report is a
comprehensive computerized analysis based on your blood chemistries,
hair analysis, and a personal questionnaire. This 70 page personalized
manual will recommend dietary changes as well as a supplementation
program for the immune system’s recovery. Although there is no
additional charge for this report, the patient is responsible for
providing the following:
• A SMAC and CBC test. There is a $60 fee assessed by a local lab
for both tests, one before and one after the dental revision.
• A hair analysis by Biocomp Laboratories. To request this test,
please contact Biocomp Laboratories’ toll free number: (800)
331-2303.
• An extensive questionnaire sent to you by Dr. Lagos. This is a
set of 400 questions.

14. Appointment Reservation Deposit. Patient appointments can

range from half a day to five consecutive days. Dr. Lagos provides
this very unique system to meet the needs of 95% of his patients
who travel from long distances. On previous occasions patients have
cancelled their appointments one or two days prior, leaving us with
unfunded financial obligations in the form of professional services
and other incurred expenses. To prevent this from reoccurring our
center requires a deposit of $250 dollars per day reserved. This
deposit should be made in the form of a cashiers check or money
order. This amount will be credited towards the patient’s account
balance. The amount can be refunded as long as the reservation is
cancelled or postponed at least three weeks prior to the
appointment. Checks should be made payable to Dr. Ezekiel N.
Lagos and sent to the following mailing address:

Dr. Ezekiel N. Lagos

P. O. Box 210513,
Chula Vista, CA 91921-0513.

15. Payment Method. Payment is due prior to treatment in the form of

cash, traveler’s checks, and cashier’s checks. Please make cashiers
checks payable to Dr. Ezekiel N. Lagos.
