1. Intro
This proposal is in response to TAFE’s Request of Proposal. They have requested a
chapter within their wikibook on Study.

The simple chapter on Study will be a great way for students to gain tips on how to do
it effectively and potentially increase marks and performance at TAFE.

2. Company Overview
Eye-T Learning is the leader when it comes to writing successful guides that excel
readers in learning what they want quickly and efficiently. We are always setting new
benchmarks and exceeding the expectations of our customers and clients. We have
provided books and notes for the worlds top performing companies and as the results

3. Product Concept and Plan

3.1 Benefits to Students

Students who read the chapter will have a clearer idea of what studying is and how to
do it efficiently and effectively. They will come out with an advantage over other
students, and it will show as their performance in class and marks improve.

3.2 Analysis of Target Audience

This chapter in study will be aimed at not only TAFE students but other people as
well. Students who are currently about to start there School Certificate or HSC will
also benefit from reading the chapter on study.

3.3 Outline for the Content of the Chapter
Here is the basic outline. These are just the headings of the chapter.

Intro – An introduction to the chapter

What is study? – Explanation of study
Study methods – Explaining a few methods on how to study
Time management – How to manage your time effectively
Stress management – How to keep a level head when the stress comes
Conclusion – conclusion to the chapter

We will be collaborating from many sources to gather the information required to

create a comprehensive guide to studying. Here are a few of the sources that we will
be using.

3.4 Description of web services that will be used

We will be using several web services to help assist in keeping the chapter interesting
and up to date.

Slideshare
Slideshare is the world's largest community for sharing presentations on the web. It’s
a free webservice that allows users to upload power point slides and embed it into
web pages. It is compatible with many other programs and allows the user full control
in viewing slides.

Vimeo
Vimeo is a video-centric social network site. The site supports embedding, sharing,
long-term video storage, and allows user-commenting on each video page. We will
use vimeo to upload tutorials and videos, and then embed it into the wikibook for
users to view.

Complete and submit a draft report for the Request for Proposal

6 November 2007:
i) Identify the sources of content for the wikibook chapter's content
ii) Complete storyboards for slideshows and videos
iii) Complete scripts for interviews
iv) Design the format for the wikibook chapter.

13 November 2007
i) Progress report. Presentation of storyboards illustrating your concept and ideas for
your chapter and the current status of your project
ii) Continue the design and development of your multimedia chapter.

20 November 2007
i) Continue the design and development of your multimedia chapter
ii) Submit a design for the wikibook's cover.

27 November 2007
i) Team presentations of design options for the wikibook chapter
ii) Evaluation and selection of final wikibook chapters
iii) Compilation of the wikibook for student use.

4. Conclusion
We at Eye-T Learning are very excited about the prospect of developing this study
chapter that will benefit students. We hope that you will allow us this opportunity to
