Q&A
I have had dogs all my life so surely I don’t have to go to
classes with the next one, I can train it myself?
No, you can’t. I hate that expression, “I’ve had dogs all
my life.” Just how many dogs can people have in one
lifetime? Four, maybe five? Since when did that make
you an expert? I’ve had people who have had just two
previous dogs and were so big headed they decided they
could train any dog and made a mess of it. Besides that,
dogs need socializing and every dog is different and
responds differently. Only proper training will give the
right result.
