*Note: Slipping the first

for easier pick-up of stitches
for the gusset.

Your row begins with needle one, starting at the bottom of the
heel. Needle two holds the instep stitches. Needle 3 goes down
the other side of the gusset.

Round 1- knit (Victory Lap)

Round 2 (decrease) - on Needle one, knit to three stitches before

the end, K2tog, K1. On needle two, knit across. On
needle three, K1, SSK, Knit to end. Repeat these two rounds
until you are back to the original number of stitches (28 or
32).

Knit in the round until foot measures desired length (to the
base of the big toe) You can try the sock on while working. You
will do approx 25 - 30 rows from where you picked up the heel
gusset stitches for medium, 35 rows for large.

Toe Decreases: Make decreases

as you did for the gusset (as
above) but IN ADDITION, you
will decrease on needle two: K1,
SSK, work to three stitches
before the end, K2tog, k1.
Continue decrease until you
have half your original number
of stitches.

Kitchener remaining stitches closed. Weave in your ends.
