Dear Lutheran High School Friends and Alumni,
Lutheran High School St. Charles is in the continuing process of establishing an alumni association. The
association would work as a branch of the LHSSC family, to strengthen ties between Lutheran High School and
its graduates.
We invite you to participate in the Inaugural Lutheran High School Alumni and Friends Basketball Tournament.
The tournament will be held the weekend of May 21, 2011, and is a wonderful chance to reconnect with old
friends, and make some new ones.
All family and friends are invited to join us for this exciting event, either as players or spectators. An alumni
and friends dinner will be held following Saturday’s games at 7 pm in the Lutheran High School cafeteria. All
other information regarding the tournament is listed below.
When: Saturday 5/21/11 – Sunday 5/22/11
Where: Lutheran High School – 5100 Mexico Road – St. Peters, MO 63376
Who: LHSSC alumni and friends. All ages, skills, and genders. You will be put into age/gender brackets.
Rules: Co-ed teams must have 1 woman on the court at all times. Therefore, if you only have 1 woman, she
has to play the entire game. Games will be played to 16 and teams must win by two, however the first team to
reach 21 will be the winner. All games will have a 15 minute running clock. Each team will be rewarded one
(1 minute) timeout per game. All baskets made inside the 3 point line will be scored as 1 point. All baskets
made outside the line will be 2 points. The 3 point line will serve as the “take back” line. After all made baskets
and/or changes of possession, the offensive team must check the ball at the take back line.
Cost: $60/Team (3 players minimum/6 players maximum)
How: Find some friends, family, or other alum, and fill out the registration form.
