Once powered-on, the mode hello is displayed. Whether “NO-PROG” was displayed, refer to PART TWO. REMINDER IMPORTANT MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS - STORE the REGULOR CONSOLE in a DRY place in winter time. - Replace male and female connectors cap (SOCAPEX) - Never leave anything heavy on touch-pad - Wipe up only using a damp cloth. NEVER USE PETROLEUM SOLVENT (Trichloretylene or similar) REGULOR UTILISATION RECOMMENDATIONS If any fault developing when using REGULOR, Press key 5 and select “MANUAL” mode. IMPORTANT Before applying from your local agent, please check that pipes and feeding lines as well as nozz- les, quadrijets, cut-off, flowmeter and filters (circulation and boom) are free of blockages. Screen displays The Regulation valve drives leftwards and rightwards and sets up to a half stroke position. Screen displays. Spray regulation is no longer controlled. Whatsoever the user is still able to drive regulation valve using “+” and “'~"" keys. A) WHEEL CIRCUMFERENCE CONTROL : The covered distance test must be carried out on the field, in ground working condi- NoTIct tions instead of roadway. 13 PROCESS : Measure a 100 metres distance - Reset “‘covered distance” counter to zero” - Drive this 100 distance - Read distance displayed on screen. 100m Example : displayed distance is : 95 metres. SYSTEM * If an exception develops, it becomes necessary to check that application rate corresponds to the control box figures. Once a year at least, calibration of pump must be checked to make sure application rate is efficent. Operations list : Using calibrated vessels (8 to 12)... under equally distant nozzles chosen all along boom sec- tions, switch “ON” all sections together and measure the sprayed liquid volume over a 200 m. range. Then, when nozzle spacing is 0.50 m, each one sprays over a 0,5 x 200 m = 100 m2. For a 250 I/ha rate pump setting, the volume per nozzle must be : 250 x 100 _ T0000 = 25 litres The average delivery will be compared to the expected rate. Do not forget to record working pressure and speed, these informations will be used for later stationary checking tests. B - FLOWMETER CHECKING Keep machine stationary, sprayline feeding open and sections end valves close - Set the 48 red nozzles. Control box selection is PROG MODE. ADVICE : * Checking the measured litre/min. output. Example : 48 red nozzles, plain circulation at a 2 bar working pressure. Sensor (C) must fit exactly to the bore so as to obtain the required 2,5 mm setting value which has been designed for the better pulse control. 2 Check three other holes 90° distant to ensure of disc eveness.
