6 INDUSTRIAL SIGNIFICANCE

The process modelling methodologies and the


process-based Q&R management approaches
have been tested by the design cases in indus-
try. The NPI process management system has
also been deployed at one of our industrial part-
ner’s site. In the future, the project will focus on
the further enhancement of these methods, ap-
proaches, techniques and software tools by ap-
ply them to more local electronics design com-
panies.
