SAT Subject Tests
SAT Subject Tests are required of students who attend a high school that is not regionally accredited, including home-schooled students.
Three are required of such applicants, including one in mathematics.
TOEFL results
All international (freshmen and transfer) whose native language is not English must take the TOEFL. International freshman applicants with minimum scores of 600 on the SAT Critical Reading
or 27 on the ACT English are exempt from taking the TOEFL. The TOEFL must have been taken within two years of the application date.

Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, applicants who are admitted to USC and who choose to enroll have the right to review the university records that pertain to them.
If an applicant wishes to obtain confidential recommendations to be used for purposes of admission and academic counseling only, he or she may waive this right of access. If you
are willing to waive your right of access to this report, please sign the following release: “I will not seek access to this confidential recommendation submitted for the purposes of admission
and counseling only.”
As part of the application for admission to the University of Southern California, we ask students to obtain a report from a school counselor or teacher. We seek the comments and evaluations
of school officials who know the student well and who may be able to provide insights into the candidate’s character, personality and abilities. Please be candid in your commentary and as
comprehensive as possible in your description of the student’s qualifications. The student should indicate the intended filing deadline above. Please mail your completed form and letter to the

You must arrange for your high school/secondary school to submit to USC Admission an official transcript of your high record. We accept many
electronic methods of submission, or you may use this form to have your school fax or mail the documents.
Freshmen
We require your official high school transcripts. Use this form to have your school send us your current high school record. Submission of this form is helpful, not required. We also
accept many electronic methods of transcript submission, or you may have your school mail the documents directly to us at the address below.
Freshman applicants who attend high school outside the U.S. should send official secondary school records and a certified English translation if such records are not in English.
Transfers
We require your high school transcripts. Use this form to have your school send us your final records.
If you did not complete high school, you must still submit a transcript of all courses you did complete, as well as a certification of high school equivalency or G.E.D.
Applicants who have earned an undergraduate bachelor’s degree are not required to submit this form or their high school record.
Transfer applicants who attended secondary school outside the U.S. should send official secondary school records verifying the award of all secondary school diplomas and/or
academic certificates, with the title and date conferred, accompanied by an English translation (if such records are not in English).
