CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTIONS

6.0 INTRODUCTION

The project that we are doing is an idea; discussion and agreement form
the team members. The idea of this project pop’s in our mind after us our self
who are house-mate lost the key of our house.

6.1 CONCLUSION

The conclusion that we can say throughout this project is that the students
are more exposed to the planning of the project on the first semester. The
planning including the process to determine the project title which suite the
objectives, process synopsis, the study of each components and the estimate cost
of the project.

Before creating a project, the determination of the project title is very

important to achieve the project objectives. After the title chosen, the planning
draft in synopsis form can show the picture or the stages to the students on the
steps of completing the project.

Besides that, basic knowledge on their studies also helps the students on
the process of studying about the components which will lead them to a quality
project. A strategic plan is very important before they start to implement their
project.

The main objective of this project is to create a prototype of an unlocking

system which will help people when they might lose their keys. It is also created
as an additional security system which is very convenient to the users.

The implementation of this project is based on our daily life particularly

from the security aspect. Indirectly, we can sharpen our programming skills as
also in understanding every each component we used.

Besides that, students also gain more knowledge on the installation and
uses of the electronic and electrical components. And it also help students to
expand their knowledge and skills which they couldn’t learn through theory.

6.2 SUGGESTIONS

Even though this project is not really functioning, but we managed to

understand and learn things that we couldn’t learn through theory. Plus, we also
gain more knowledge on electric and electronic circuit and sharpen our
programming skills. However, we have a few improvement suggestions for this
project which are :

i) Make it from just a single unlocking device to a dual locking and

unlocking device by using relay to switch the positive / negative terminal
so that the motor can rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise.

ii) Edit the programming so that it can detect 2 types of knock which
can make it as an unlocking and locking device after adding the relay to
the circuit.

iii) Adding H-bridge into the circuit also can make it an unlocking /
locking device. An H-bridge is an electronic circuit which enables a
voltage to be applied across a load in either direction. These circuits are
often used in robotics and other applications to allow DC motors to run
forwards and backwards.
