steel. The acid-resistant material
is particularly suitable for use in
coastal areas and near exposed
roads (withstands salt and grit).
The surface is etched and
exposed faces can be polished

Folding and sliding doors
Für die Konstruktion von Falt-
und Schiebetoren bietet Jansen
ein aufeinander abgestimmtes
Sortiment an Profilen in den
Bauhöhen 50, 60 und 80 mm,
Zubehör und Beschläge, mit
denen sich nahezu jede bauliche
Situation angemessen ver-
schließen läßt: die Falttore kön-
nen hinter, in oder auch vor der
Hallenöffnung angeschlagen
werden, nach innen oder außen
öffnen und mit praktisch beliebi-
ger Flügelaufteilung gestaltet
werden. Schiebetore kommen
immer dann zum Zug, wenn
Platz sparende Konstruktionen
gefragt sind. Mit Füllelementen
aus Paneelen oder Glas genügen
sie auch erhöhten Anforderun-
gen im hochwertigen Objektbau,
an der Schnittstelle von Gewer-
be und Verwaltung.
Raffinierte Dichtungen gewähr-
leisten eine hohe Dichtigkeit und
Sicherheit, auch als Schutz vor
dem Einklemmen der Finger.
Das Profil- und Dichtungssorti-
ment eignet sich sowohl für
manuell als auch für automa-

Produktnorm EN 13241-1. Für
unsere Verarbeiter ist damit eine
wesentliche Voraussetzung für
die CE-Kennzeichnung unserer

For folding and sliding doors,
Jansen provides a co-ordinated
range of profiles with basic
depths of 50, 60 and 80 mm, as
well as accessories and fittings
to meet all requirements. The
folding doors can be rebated
in or in front of the opening,
as inward or outward opening
doors, and designed with almost
any leaf division. Sliding doors
come into their own when a
space-saving design is required.
Infill panels or glass infills
can be used to meet increased
demands for high-quality
projects.
Sophisticated gaskets ensure
a high level of weathertightness
and security, as well as provi-
ding anti-finger-trap protection.
The range of profiles and
gaskets is suitable for both
manually and automatically
operated door systems. The
complementary fittings are
also fully tested and guarantee
a long service life with reliable,
quiet and smooth operation.
From May 2005, the CE mark
will be required across the EU
for industrial doors that do not
have fire or smoke protection
properties. Jansen folding and
sliding doors in both manual
and automatic versions meet
the requirements of product
standard EN 13241-1. For our
installers this offers an important
prerequisite for the CE marking
of our door systems.
