consultant for the bank, its clients and stakeholders. We analyze relevant trends for the bank in financial markets,
business and society. The Global Risk Analysis group is DB’s center of competence for country risk research and,

Based in Frankfurt am Main and part of a global, multicultural team, you will be analyzing financial, economic and
political risks in the global economy, with focus on emerging markets. More specifically, you will be required to:

Deliver short-term, event-related assessments
Develop a medium-term view on your countries
Place your analysis in a broader economic context at the regional or global level

Your assessments will be used for:

Management board briefings


Quantitative models underpinning country risk management within DB
Management initiatives in support of DB’s global strategy
External publications
Own presentations

You will develop a network of internal and external contacts related to your portfolio, including by travelling to some
of the countries.

Professional and Personal Qualifications:

Internationally oriented university degree in economics or business administration with outstanding final grades
Two to three years experience in macroeconomic analysis, preferably involving emerging markets; Outstanding
graduates with relevant experience will also be given a chance
International experience through a foreign assignment or an internship is an additional asset
Ability to grasp complex economic interrelations and to present them understandably
Advanced analytical skills
Very good writing skills
Outstanding English skills (written and spoken)
Good presentation and communication skills
Self-initiative and ability to meet tight deadlines
