Meeting called to order at 12:05 pm.

1. February meeting minutes were approved as written.
2. Announcements
a. Treasurer’s Report / Cartridges for Kids:
i. $23.05 was received from Cartridges for Kids.
ii. $500.00 was transferred to the Easter Egg Hunt.
iii. There is a total of $9,060.95 in the treasury.
iv. SAC t-shirts have been paid for.
b. TED conference: will be held in GSIS Friday March 14.
3. Old Business
a. SAC Egg Hunt, Kathy Aliaga: Egg stuffing is planned for Friday, March 14 beginning
at 9 am until done, in the Renaissance South Room. Members are requested to arrive at
the Egg Hunt for setup between 8:30 and 9:00 am; the Egg Hunt begins at 11:00 on
March 22 nd in the Humanities Garden. Bagels and lunch will be provided. The hunt will
be in stages, littlest kids first. An air horn is needed; Nicky volunteered to bring one from
Athletics. Significant others are welcome to help.
b. Cartridges for Kids – discussion about additional locations and signs for posting
continued until April meeting.
c. DU Telephone Directory – Stephanie Panion will continue to follow up.
4. New Business
a. Picnic Committee: Tonnett Luedtke will chair the committee. The Picnic will be held
July 17 th, the third Thursday. Jennifer Emmett will co-chair.
b. Council Member Updates and News:
 i. Renee Teixeira is a new SAC rep who has taken over for Amy Tafuro.
ii. Jessica Lenhardt had a baby boy on February 26 th. His name is Deacon.
c. Future Guest Speakers: Vice Chancellor Craig Woody will be a guest speaker in May.
Lunch will be served.
5. Departmental Announcements
a. Karl French is working on the Sustainability web site.
b. LaCrosse and Tennis are in full swing so support of teams is requested.
c. The DU Ski Team won the National Championship.
d. Let Stephanie Panion know if you still need a SAC T-shirt. Members are requested to
wear them to the Picnic.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:50.

The next meeting will be held April 9, 2008 in the Penrose Library, Room 220.
