Description
The Model 44SM7 is a self contained, remotely mountable module that accepts low speed (12.5 KHz) ARINC 429 (Label
114, Desired Track [True] and Label 121, Horizontal Command) from the Garman 530 or other compatible GPS units.
The unit will convert this data into three wire, 11.8 V Line-to-Line Synchro information.

Protection: Unit will not be damaged by loss of Power or Reference. The Synchro output is internally limited
and will not be damaged by short circuit conditions. Recovery from short circuit is within 0.5 sec.
Grounds: Power and reference inputs are transformer isolated and are isolated from chassis ground and Z
common. Z common is isolated from the chassis. Z common, Chassis, and Power Low should be
interconnected at a single point.
