8, Angels

The book of Acts records the ministry of ANGELS as a part of establishing and advancing the
Kingdom. Acts records the activities of messenger angels, angels of protection, angels of
deliverance, and angels of judgment. Angels are connected with HEAVENLY JERUSALEM,
MOUNT SION, the KINGDOM. Heaven was actively involved in establishing and advancing
the kingdom on earth.

Heb.12:22-24

But ye are come unto MOUNT SION, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly
Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of ANGELS,

To the general assembly and CHURCH of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God
the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

And to Jesus the mediator of the NEW COVENANT covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

The book of Acts does not record the postponement of the kingdom, but the establishment and
advance of the Kingdom in the first century.

Acts 5:18-20

And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison.

But the ANGEL of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

Acts 8:26

And the ANGEL of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the
way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
 

Acts 10:3

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an ANGEL of God coming in to
him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

Acts 12:7

And, behold, the ANGEL of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he
smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from
his hands.

Acts 12:23

And immediately the ANGEL of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he
was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

Acts 27:23

For there stood by me this night the ANGEL of God, whose I am, and whom I serve

The angels were desirous to look into the things of the kingdom. They were not only involved
but interested in the establishment and advancement of the kingdom. They were interested in
seeing the mystery of the kingdom revealed and fulfilled.

1 Peter 1:12

Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things,
which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy
Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the ANGEL DESIRE to LOOK INTO.
